We love this shop. We did a pottery lesson with Elaine and had a great time - we did some throwing on the wheel and also hand building. It was definitely one of the best activities we did during our time in the area. Stop in!

I am always popping in on this collective of women potters who have many different styles of both the useful, the decorative and the combination. Lots of talent in this group! I highly recommend stopping by for gifts and for items for your own home.

Reems Creek Pottery is a working studio where the artists also sell what they make on-site. I learned about it through an artist (IyaBlu' Inc) that was attending a downtown Asheville pottery festival.Rachel Smith opened the studio in 2015 and collaborates with 6-8 pottery artists creating anything from dishes to ornaments to vases and more. Her husband, Dana Smith also sells his custom writing instruments and kitchen utensils here. Besides the expected wooden inlay pens, he uses unique materials like pasta and oats, which are worth checking out.I always find something I like here, and prices are reasonable. It's also a great spot to pick up a gift. Hours are typically around 10-3 M-Sat but do vary.

We stopped by during a visit to Weaverville. Awesome space with a lot of fabulous pottery. Very welcoming folks and will defintiely make a point to stop in next time we’re in town.

Rachel makes beautiful, hand-crafted pottery. Her husband's wood-working is amazing too. We bought two of his pens for holiday gifts! Absolutely worth the visit!!

Excellent, hand crafted pottery with unique designs at very affordable prices. It's definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a gift or souvenir, or if you want to experience local crafts. There are both decorative and practical pieces, as well. Great selection and great artistry!
