“I got my septum pierced two days ago, and yesterday one of the balls on the end of my horse shoe ring fell off. I was devastated because I was so excited to show all of my friends, and no replacement ball would get here in time. We called Empire and the man that picked up (I’m so sorry I didn’t get his name) told us we could come by real quick and pick them up. He said he’d tape them to the door because they’re closing soon and he wouldn’t charge us anything. I’m so so grateful for his generosity, seriously a life saver.”

“I was in town for a business meeting.
Ive been ready for a Moldavite pendant for a while now. (Your mind set has to be there for Moldavite). But I did not want to order any because many people sell fake pieces and Moldavite is not a cheap stone. I also wanted to feel the pieces and know which piece was right for me. Before leaving town I looked online and found this store and was immediately drawn to the pieces that also had Moonstone. As soon as I walked in the store, Connie made me feel welcome like an old friend she'd known for years. I felt like a kid again picking my piece and Connie was so patient with me. (Im 48yrs old). She had the best selection of Moldavite pendants Ive ever seen. Even when Ive been to gem events. But her prices, SO AFFORDABLE. Moldavite is some what expensive anyway but Connies quality was absolutely stunning. I left there with the pendant I feel was made for me. The more I look at it, the more I see it was definitely meant for me. Thank you so much Connie for the wonderful experience. I cant wait for another visit.”

“10/10 experience purchasing an engagement ring.I am from Pennsylvania and was struggling to find something unique. It came down to the wire, as in day before, and I still had no ring.Knowing Asheville was more of a artisan type town, and I was to surprise/crash my girlfriends family vacation in charlotte, i thought I might be on to something by swinging through Asheville first.I found Mora online, and with just a phone call they set a ring aside I was interested in (but not yet sold on). Upon arrival the next day, they were most welcoming to me and my massive dog. There was ZERO pressure, and they were incredibly insightful and helpful.They were knowledgeable on what matters in terms of design/materials but spoke in regular english as opposed to diamond/industry jargon.After the proposal they welcomed us in for resizing and were able to pull off getting it done while we were still in town.The owner, Marthe, is CLEARLY in her destined profession as it was abundantly obvious she is passionate about her jewlery, the makers, and the end customer.Her team, Emily & Gena, were friendly knowledgeable, easy to work with and again not pushy in any way. They listened to my needs and questions and addressed them all and helped guide me to what was right for me and my fiance.The day/week/and memory wouldn't be the same without themMost grateful for their assistance and professionalism.Selection / styles / pricing varied in a good way. i purchased a two day workshop in encaustic painting for myself and a friend with Bridget Benton.
it was amazing!
The workshop came with all the tools and supplies needed and each workspace was completely set up. Bridget is an experienced artist and instructor. Her handouts were well organized and the materials were top quality.
I enjoyed the small classroom size of 5 students which provided for 1:1 instruction and we could see other students work. Everyone was happy with their work.”
