I do not normally do reviews but I have to say today was horrible!!! I asked a guy to help me plug in a mini fridge to see if it worked. He was very rude and huffing because I asked for assistance. Again at checkout the young lady was also very rude!!!! What is wrong with this world today?? Needless to say it was not a good day at the goodwill!!!!

We give things we no longer need to Goodwill for them to sell and support the good work they do.

There was a guy at the cash register that had a very militant way about him. He had an issue with how we were in a very long line waiting to check out. He was very rude and it was not appreciated.

Probably the only Goodwill I’ve been to that I’d rate 5 stars. The store is somewhat small, yet it has plenty of great items. Just today I bought 11 pieces of clothing that I really like, and I rarely buy that much from other thrift stores. The prices are good but that’s just according to me, an upper-middle class hipster university student. However, the “Special Finds” selection was a bit questionable. What’s so special about an Old Navy sweater made in China? Nothing, that’s what. The bar is so low, it’s on the ground!

Awesome thrift store in weaverville. Can’t beat the prices. Usually pretty clean and parking spots are always available. Wheelchair friendly. Found lots of cute clothing and bathing suits today, plus a lamp I’m going to paint!

I had a carload of stuff another goodwill took, but they wouldn't take two new samsonite folding tables and yes an old ironing board which should have been thrown out. I am in the middle of a move with my parents and I'm sure I could've sold the tables myself. But I'm tired and took them to the Goodwill in Weaverville. The manager was great and took the tables and even the ironing board which I begged to use his trash can for. He said, "no just leave them here". Thank you!!!!!!

I went in to goodwill because I lost my crutches,. I'm disabled don't have a lot of money and i'm unable to work.. I've been working for a tenth vacation seeing it actually worked for this place the other day in excreciating pain.. Someone donated a pair of crutches, Me barely having any money I couldn't believe they charged me for them. They call this a place of good will, What kind of good will is that when a man has Torn arguments and can work and barely any money and they still charge

Goodwill has become oppressive. Charging hefty prices for clothes people wanted to trash. I can buy brand new better quality clothes at other places for the same price. On the bright side you can still find some decent things there if you look

As a shopper at MANY Goodwills I have to say that the Weaverville location is by FAR the best. Typically when I enter I get a warm "Welcome to Goodwill!" which puts me in the perfect mood to empty my wallet lol. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful even when I do break items sometimes. I think that Corporate needs to evaluate this store and use them as a lead of how all stores should act.

Store now better organized than it had been, clean, well stocked, good prices, unusual finds, and friendly staff.

EDIT: It's been six years since I originally left my review. I went back today and I'm disappointed to report that this store still deserves one star. Absolutely dysfunctional, rude staff, still insane prices.I don't leave bad reviews very often. But this place. Who prices your goods? Four-year-olds? Donald Trump? Why would I pay $10 for a cracked mirror with the tags from Target still on it, that show it was $5 new? You're selling used stuff that was donated to you for more than they sold when they were new! Your prices are so ridiculous, my blood pressure shoots up just driving by the store. Ugh. Get a clue, guys.

Like any goodwill, it's good some weeks and mediocre others. It's cheap and I've got some nice things here but it's a nightmare towards the holidays

Rating only from a drop off perspective. Quick and easy drive through area and the staff helps with unloading large furniture pieces.
