Was attempting to grow my hair out to donate to cancer patients and was working in the medical field. My hair was almost to the back of my knees. Old man in the store said he could take me. I asked for a half inch to an inch trim just to remove the dead ends. He knelt behind the chair muttering “Maintenance” to himself over and over again. Was crouched down behind the chair. The store is dead silent and the people who are cutting other people’s hair stopped and was watching. No one said a word. When he was done I had the worst feeling in my gut with how quiet that store was. My hair which had taken ten years to get to that length was up to my shoulders. This old man smiled the biggest smile and said “It will grow back in 6 months to a year”. I was crying walking out of that store, he came to the front of the store, folded his arms as he sat down and laughed and laughed while I had a panic attack in my car. Worst service, worst place ever. If you value your hair, do not ever go there. Old man needs to be fired or to never ever ruin another woman’s life like that. I was ashamed for months until my hair started growing again. Worst place ever. Will never go to another Fantastic Sam’s in my life. Horrid service.

Charlie at Fantastic Sams is a CUT above the rest! I stumbled upon him two years ago as a walk-in, and I've never looked back. This master barber has a gift for precision and attention to detail that's unparalleled. His warm smile and kind demeanor put even the most anxious clients at ease. I've sent my entire family to him - mom, grandma, my partner, and brothers - and every single one has left satisfied! Charlie's dedication to his craft is a blessing, and I'm so grateful to have found him. As the Bible says,
'The glory of God is seen in the hair of the head' (1 Corinthians 11:15). Charlie's work is truly a reflection of that glory - he's a master of his craft, and a shining star at Fantastic Sams. Thank you, Charlie, for all that you do! Go see Charlie and he will add you to his book! ?
After reading the reviews from a previous customer who apparently was not happy. I have this to say for you and everyone you got to leave a review in hopes of getting someone fired.…..
I get it, bad haircuts can be frustrating! But let's keep things in perspective. If you wanted perfection, maybe a high-end salon was the way to go. Charlie's human, not a miracle worker! And honestly, public shaming and threatening their job? That's just not cool. We've all had bad days and made mistakes - did you get fired from your job last time you messed up? I doubt it. Let's practice some understanding and forgiveness here. Hair grows back, people! And if you wanted a freebie, a simple ask would've sufficed. No need to bring in the big guns. Let's keep it kind, folks!.

Took my family for school hair cuts. The staff was on time for the appointment and very friendly. All 3 haircuts are just awful, each child had multiple pictures to show what they requested. The result was no where near what they asked for. Now I’m scrambling to go somewhere and try and get it fixed. Great customer service but ultimately terrible skills. Don’t even want to go back for them to try and fix it there.

Asked for layers to blend in my Mohawk I was growing out asked for this specific haircut and got a hack job saying he was blending in the sides then shaved my neck and gave me a mens cut I had shoulder length as shown before Charlie should have his license revoked he said it will look like the photo in two months supposedly I should be reimbursed and given free extensions for what I was given

The old man you have working there cutting women’s hair should be fired immediately. I’ve always told people never to go to your store for anything because you people have a history of destroying peoples hair. We will be contacting an attorney.

Nikki has been doing my hair for a couple years now and always does a great job. She gets the color and cut spot on and takes her time. She, Charlie and Angie are the absolute best and are friendly, professional and just overall good people. The salon is always clean. Highly recommend.

First time here…. whenever I got home and decided to put my hair in a ponytail….. My hair looks so choppy and uneven. It’s embarrassing to have it pulled up now it literally looks like an upside down V It’s long on the left and right side and in the middle it is super short. I have never in my life had this happen. and I have always got the exact same haircut every single time for the last 10+ years. In the photos I tried to show how choppy my hair is. In the one photo, I marked it with red marker of the same pieces side-by-side that would be the front of my face a.k.a. top of my ponytail and just look at how much shorter one half is.
