Manager Branch - Tabitha Garner was very unpleasant and was denying me the service I requested.
I travel from TN 1.5 hrs, Arrived to the locarion at 12:30 pm, waited until 1:19 pm for the Branch Manager (Tabitha Garner) to tell us to come back on Monday because "apparently" I needed to do an appointment to open a new account since there were just 2 people on staff. I have been with woodforest for a while and there is always 2 people on every branch. There is never the need to make appointments because they always open new accounts right there and then.
Tabitha was denying me the service I requested just because she just didn't want to go through it.
So, I was like ok, I understand, then let me call woodforest and see if I can speak with someone about this, to which she answered, we can help but you will have to wait sometime.
While I was on the phone with a member explaining the situation, the other lady (Jennifer Fuentes) that was behind the counter approached us to help us opening the account.

The level of incompetence is unsurpassed. Go in and tell them I want a secured revolving line of credit. I’m told the best rate on the CD they open to use the revolving line of credit on, was very low. 8 month is 4.6…ok that’s fine. Not low but the banks lowest.I was told after 2 hours there she was new. I told her to take her time. I’m sick and just need it done right. I was told the 15$ card fee would be waved.So I get a call the next day saying they can only do a revolving line of credit on a 12 month CD. I need to cancel my 8 month and reopen 12 month. Then re apply for the secure line of credit. I’m sick and far from banks!! Let alone the generational lack of intellect america produces.I go into another branch. Not the Waynesville Nc branch. Useless EVERYTIME!! They done everything there and I wait 48 more hours. But it’ll be done. Logged onto portal this morning. Nothing yet from my line of credit but not only one but 2 card activation fees of 15 each. The one card I received was waved yet there are 2 fees. Yep the IQ of Americans are dropping generationally. Pathetic bunch.From fortified foods causing mthfr gene detox issues or the continued over taxation while the government blows billion on space travel and gene therapy only the rich get access to as reworded in investors. Even though tax dollars paid for the research as we develop autoimmune, cancers and new sickness every day. Or the pfa filled water triggering immune response that no one does anything about becits to late. Yet we continue to pay taxes so the debt ceiling can be raised. Whist so america can continue there world war bully tactics that other countries are tired of. Even we the people are.Yet every low IQ American out here struggling to make a dollar just sends in there mafia percentage due diligence reworded by military style police force as taxes!! Yaaay I’m so patriotic when even the people are bread and “educated” to live there lives this way and can’t even do your jobs. I guess you deserve to be used as currency Well that is what our social security numbers are anyway…Re educate yourself and wake up america.

I really love this bank I have been there for several years! But due to staffing issues in the Waynesville branch I have no choice but go elsewhere I really hate to do that!

The workers I have talked to have to been very nice and listened to me well. But there was one worker who was snarky with me and correcting me in my small talk. It was very awkward and I didn’t appreciate that.

Great spot for a bank. It's convenient and the only bank that's open on Sunday. They have accounts available for people with bad banking history, and do direct deposit a day before it would normally post. There are usually only 2 people working, sometimes 3. So if there's a customer needing a time consuming assistance, you may have to wait in the line for a minute. I never waited more than a few minutes.Also, the end of the month is their busiest time so try to avoid those last couple of days.The manager (Jack I believe) is incredibly knowledgeable & helpful.

Great people and service
