It's Walmart. Same store, different state, it's still Walmart.

Apparently, the training for the pickers of online orders is to grab bent cans, out of date packaged items, and moldy fruit. I would prefer my oranges to not have mold fuzz all over them, but that's just me. I can't remember the last time I picked up an order that didn't have something wrong with it. The price you pay for not wanting to spend an hour pushing a cart through the store.

Didn't have a big selection for what I needed. Too many people...like a bad traffic. The woman at the self checkout was kind of rude for no reason to a different customer. Not my favorite Walmart...but still a Walmart.

As a former Walmart associate, I understand the policies and expectations for managers and associates. Here’s my feedback on the current state of your store, which has unfortunately fallen far from the standards it once upheld.
Personal shoppers and the daytime cap team need to stay out of the way and leave their carts and rocket carts in the action alley. They do not observe the six-foot rule because they’re preoccupied with theming and stocking overnight GM. Pallets are often left on the floor after overnight stocking, creating hazards and obstructions. Vendors regularly block entire aisles while stocking, adding to the chaos.
Personal shoppers are frequently rude, unable to direct customers to aisles they shop in daily, and often roll their eyes when asked a question. Very few demonstrate any courtesy. The worst sections of the store, with the least helpful associates, are found within the garden center, where pallets are regularly left on the floor. The seasonal aisles are mismanaged, as assistant managers stock freight without following Walmart’s core values.
Walmart is no longer about everyday low prices. Instead, it inconveniences everyday shoppers because the store cannot control its inventory or shrink, taking it out on people who rely on low prices. If you’re going to have personal shoppers blocking aisles, you should shut the doors until noon to fulfill all orders, work all freight, and ensure all shelves are zoned and faced. Top stock is meant for high-volume items, but this store uses it as a secondary backroom.
The meat wall is stacked three and four high, which poses health risks and promotes bacterial growth. The pans and fans have an unpleasant stench, indicating they haven’t been cleaned recently. The produce section features poorly built displays, further detracting from the store’s overall quality.
This Walmart used to set an example for other stores in the market, but now it’s a big joke. The GM should walk the store in Waynesville regularly to ensure associates and managers follow all policies. Having three self-checks and only two cashiers is not how you get people in and out of the store efficiently; it bottlenecks an already congested front end that is understaffed.
Your store, GM, and assistant managers are failing. If assistants are used for stocking, they should dress for work instead of dressing up, because if they are only valued as stockers, that’s why your store has fallen apart. Focus more on hiring and paying a fair wage instead of setting unrealistic expectations for a team of five or six to stock an entire store. You waste my time and everyone else’s.
Your store needs immediate attention and restructuring to return to the high standards it once upheld

The store is trashed and many items are in incorrect areas. That's not to mention the rude clientele who seem to think they're the only ones in the whole store?

This is a very good Walmart, usually well stocked and clean. Associates are friendly and willing to help if needed.

You need to get some cashiers. We don’t get paid to check out groceries

Every time I come here with my daughter to use the family restroom with a small toddler toilet that is easy for her to use, it is occupied by an employee. This restroom is for families not employees to spend their breaks in. Very disappointing.

I went to the WALMART in WAYNESVILLE, NC and bought some fabrics and craft stuff and the lady who attended that section was so friendly and kind. She made my experience so pleasant. WILL definitely be going again

One of the cleanest Walmart. Staff are nice. Check in and out is usually reasonable.
