We came here to try our hand at rollerskating. I quickly found out that I am NOT good at it. I kept falling and hurting myself, and one of the workers came over into the rink to convince me to upgrade to the speed skates. Even those could not help me. I busted my butt and decided to stop. I guess it just wasn't for me! The environment and atmosphere was very welcoming and fun, though. Everyone was very nice and wanted to be helpful. They played great music that really fit the vibe. I’m going to try with the inlines sometime since I have my own pair, so hopefully it goes well next time! The little cafe that they have is awesome with very reasonable prices. We bought some fountain drinks. I’ll probably come here to get food sometime, too!

I have been going to this roller rink for at least 25 years. I went my first time while in middle school, now I take my middle-schooler to have a good time with her friends. This place is still a blast just like when I was a young one. Be ready to spend a bit of cash.

Small, wonky floor and overpriced everything
Edit: floor is still small and it shouldn't cost $50 for 2 kids to come skate. $8 to skate, yeah,and then you have to pay just to get in the door, skate or not. Our family of 4 ended up being ~$50 for just our 2 kids to go skate

This place is great. Recent renovations look good. So fun to go skate and adult night on Thursdays is our favorite. If we still had young kids this would be our birthday destination for sure.

We had the absolute best time at the sk8way. There's something for the whole family, which is what this place is all about. There's an arcade, multiple bounce houses for all ages, and a mini golf course. My boys (10 & 9) were first time skaters. The staff was kind and helpful getting the right skates, and a skate helper for those who need help staying upright on the rink. After a few laps they were feeling more confident and took off on their own. We will definitely be visiting again.

great for a night out with just family..
Would not recommend for a party it WAS way to crowded because it's open skate for the public to not just the birthday parties GOING ON NOT JUST ONE BUT four to five at a time it was insane it was so packed we could barely move around my daughter was very disappointed cause one game alone limbo took almost 30mins bc there where so many people there and for hour and a half party not worth THE PRICE.. but other then that very nice and clean

So. Much. FUN! We just had THE BEST time, and I only wish we had found this place sooner (how long has it been here???) before heading back to New Orleans. Haven't been in roller skates since I was like 9, and that's okay! Everyone was suuuuuper nice, especially since I skated like a toddler for the first hour (not quite like getting back on a bike). Funnily enough, I used ski moves and slowly got.....almost acceptable. No one made us feel like a muppet for not being pros, including when I fell flat on my bum (3x). This was the adult only skate-I would never have come if there were children present-that would have been catastrophic. There's an entire other side of the rink with video games, etc, and a snack counter with very reasonable prices-but we were leaving to meet friends for drinks, so didn't partake. The DJ was fab, and one of the best parts was WATCHING the handful of pros who glided on their skates like (very fast) swans. I was in awe. Beloved and I are definitely going to be back, but we'll get some practice in first.

We always have a blast every time we have an event here. The staff is great . Helpful and friendly. Although I think if they are going to offer the skate mates...they should let the parents know at the door. So we are not having to go.back and forth to pay again. We went on a Saturday, $8.00 per person. Plus $3.00 for skates plus $5.00 for the skate mates .Once your younger child sees other kids using them they want it to. We had to leave what we were doing,take off skates and go back to the front get a wrist band to get the skate mate.
