I tried to fill a prescription here for my cat, with a paper script in hand from my vet office. I had already tried 2 other pharmacies earlier that couldn’t fulfill it so my hopes were pretty low.I don’t mind at all that they weren’t able to fulfill it but the woman behind the counter had such a rude tone. “A fentanyl patch FOR YOUR CAT?” Yes—my cat is getting her paw amputated.I guess there’s sketchy people trying all kinds of lies but some of us are just here to pick up what the doctor said we needed, ok?

I have had my fair share of crazy experiences at this Ingles pharmacy (re: check my past reviews for it somewhere else, please). Since those times, it had been mostly OK. But....you knew that was coming...at the very, very beginning of the pandemic. we called and tried to fill my daughter's prescription. It was like six months worth, courtesy of her great nurse at the Olson Huff Center. Ingles claimed that they could not fill it. They asked for some special Medicaid number. We had no idea what they were talking about. We contacted Medicaid, and Medicaid told us to tell Ingles to contact them. All of a sudden, with that statement, my daughters prescription was able to be filled. Wow. And, as I just noted in another review for a different pharmacy, when I asked the Ingles pharmacist two questions while picking up my med, she told me that there was a customer behind me. But was I not a customer? It was so disconcerting to be dissed like that that we switched to another pharmacy. I would consider going back- it is great being able to ponder over ice cream flavors while waiting for a prescription to be filled.

Great prices with my insurance. Wait time is usually very short. They don't always call back when they said they would.

I love this grocery store. They always have a variety of super fresh produce, the store is immaculate and the staff is top notch! You can get your hair cut at great clips next door, then do your shopping. The store is always clean and hustling and bustling with dedicated employees.

My go to Ingles in WNC. Assistant manager, Justin Lee, is the best. Always goes above and beyond my expectations to be helpful. Store is clean, well stocked and organized. Gas is also cheaper than Russ Avenue store with discount for cash or debit. Highly recommend!

Very poor service. Not the Stores fault but the corporation needs to step in and provide more skilled personnel I will be transferring my business elsewhere.

With limited Covid hours at other local pharmacies, I had a hospice Rx called in 15 minutes before the Ingles Pharmacy closed earlier this week. Even as a new customer for the pharmacy, they got it done quickly for us. They have earned our continued business. Great customer service and appreciate them staying open until 9:00 pm when no other pharmacy in Waynesville appears to be .... if I missed another one, I apologize. Tried 3 others that were already closed, anyway.

This evening, at 6:46 pm, on July 28th I had a horrible incident in your Waynesville store on Russ Ave. I checked out with Kayla and she was visibly sick. Her eyes were glassy and watery; her nose was red and running (with her mask resting under her nose just above her top lip) and her voice was horse, she could barely talk. She pulled her mask down under her chin and leaned two feet from my face to whisper, "Do you have an Ingles card?" She wiped her wrist under her runny nose more than once as she scanned my groceries. She never pulled her mask above her nose at any point. I didn't want to embarrass her by asking her stop the transaction, but I did politely whisper to her, "Are you sick Sweetheart?" To which she replied, "No, I just don't have a voice. I'm just horse I'm not sick." After my bags were in the cart I immediately went to the Customer Service stand. I spoke to a caucasion woman, blonde, attractive, thin, in her 40's. I didn't look at her name badge but she was wearing slacks and and white dress shirt I believe. I told her politely, "I just checked out with Kayla and I believe she's sick." The woman got visibly angry by my comment and loudly told me, "She's not sick, she just horse, if she was sick I wouldn't let her be working." I said, "Well her eyes are glassy and she has a runny nose as well. Would it be possible if I could pick up all new groceries that she hasn't touched?" The woman loudly groaned and said, "Oh God!" Then she called the manager. A man, again I'm sorry I didn't get his name, he was caucasion, early 60's, a small belly, and thinning salt and pepper hair, came over. I said to him, "I just checked out with Kayla and I believe she's sick. Since she touched all my groceries I'd like to pick up the same groceries again if that's okay with you." He said, "Yes, of course just bring them up here when you're done." I picked out new groceries and I ran into the same manager in the soda aisle. He said, "Just head to the front and she's ready for you." I said, "Kayla appears to be really sick. Someone needs to check on her. I don't think she should be working." He said, "She's not sick we checked her temperature when she came in today." I said, "I know people with COVID who never got a temperature." He said nothing, so I said, "I'm going to contact Corporate about this." He said, "Go ahead." I proceeded to the front of the store to meet the blonde woman again. She looked over my new groceries and thanked me for getting all the identical items. I said again, "I know Kayla doesn't have a temperature, but my uncle died of COVID and he never had a temperature one day while he was sick." She then loudly said to me, "She doesn't have COVID she's just horse!" I replied, "Loosing your voice and a sore throat are symptoms of COVID." She replied, "She's not sick, she's just horse because she went to a party!" I said, "Exactly." She said, "It was a family party!" I said, "It doesn't matter if it was a family party or a party with friends. That young lady is visibly sick. -And I hope she doesn't have COVID, but if she does and she gets you sick and other people that work here sick you will remember this conversation." By that time a different manager was standing behind her (maybe he came over because he heard her yelling at me) , he was caucasion, 40's, thin, brown hair with a side part. She said to him, "Get her out of here, she just told me that she hoped that I got COVID!" I said, "That's not what I said and you know it. I told you that if you and staff sick from that young lady y
