We had our nursery rocking chair and another large chair reupholstered here. They were very friendly! They even got it done before Christmas per our request for mine and my husband’s gift to each other. They also gave us a sweet gift for the baby! We will definitely take our items here again.

We had Downs reupholster 2 & 2 sofas. The chairs were barrel back type with channels and the sofas had oversized arms with accordion skirts and decorative braided cord around the base. They did an amazing job and in comparison to other upholstery shops, they were reasonably priced. (We had talked to Biltmore Upholstery but they were TWICE as expensive on the labor and 4-5 times the cost of material!) Darlene runs the shop and she is delightful.

They do an outstanding job. High quality, quick service, and fair prices. I moved to Asheville, but still come back to Waynesville to have Downs do any upholstery work I need done.
