The store had the largest selection of furniture downtown. It was a little overwhelming and tight to maneuver around in some areas. Pricing was high on some items in comparison to other Waynsville options. I can say you would more than likely find the item furniture or decorative that you are looking for.

Crammed with furniture and decor; I’ve bought quite a few tables. Prices are much higher than they used to be.

Huge store with amazing selection of goodies, decorations, and furniture. Definitely worth stopping in and checking out this wonderful store.

Davis furniture was recommended by our real-estate agent. According to her, we would be able to decorate our whole house with items we find there at a reasonable price. She was right. Nearly everything in our home is from Davis and The Tobacco Barn. I also bought our living room sofa there for $800.. same one at High Country was listed for $1400! As well, great service from Kim and Ysidro.

This lady changes prices of her furniture. We have bought multiple pieces from her. She often tries to say the price is higher than what was placed on the furniture and charges more. We have still purchased items from her but we will never go there again. We went today to buy a small end table and she tried to charge us $70 more than what was placed on all the pieces around it as well as what was placed on the end table. She also tries to sell items for people that are from "out of town" at a higher price. We will tell everyone what she did.Buyer beware!! Not a trustworthy business.

I am very displeased with the customer service. I bought 6 chairs 1 year ago , the legs are coming off & broken as they are pressed wood. This happened on 2 of them. I went in personally and was turned away rudely . Didn't even want to help. I told them I have a vacation home and they were used maybe a half dozen times. I definitely don't recommend Davis Furniture as they don't stand behind their products . How disappointing! Do not shop here .

I was pleasantly surprised to find such a huge selection of nice furniture, coffee tables, vases with so much stuff to put inside. You literally could spend hours here. The one thing that makes it so tough to give them a higher rating is the owner is not the type of customer service person who should be running a store. She is rude but I don't think she realizes it because we have been in at least 5 times and usually purchase something however, she doesn't say "hey welcome back" or "nice to see you again". It seems she is this way to everyone so thinking it isn't on purpose just not the friendliest of people which is fine with her prices being one of the lowest with some of the highest quality. So I guess I will be going. back but not expecting to get a warm feeling upon returning.

Yuge selection, reasonable prices on most items, staff could be a bit friendlier.

I own a very successful, popular cabin rental in Asheville, NC. When I need a piece of furniture or an additional touch of "cabiny" decor I head to Davis Home Furnishing in Waynesville. This store is the only reasonably priced "cabin" store in Western NC that I have found. I read the couple of reviews on this site that were very upset by the attitudes of Kim, the owner and the old man. (although I may be older than he is). I could say they both were a little "wonky" lol, but I don't mind a little of that. If you have a cabin or want to dress your modest home to feel like a cabin or just want a momento of your trip to the mountains, this store is a treasure trove. If you have a huge budget there is another store in town with elegant cabin furnishings. Also, if you are looking for cute cups or other souvenir type objects, my favorite place for that is "Affairs of the Heart". All these stores are downtown in Waynesville. I am a firm believer that promoting more than one business that are neighbors is a great idea even if they are in competition with each other. One doesn't thrive in a vacuum. Getting back to Davis, please don't let a little strangeness with customer service keep you from checking out this store. I'm being selfish because I NEED this store and I don't want it to go away.

Absolutely THE RUDEST EXPERIENCE I have ever had shopping!! The store says open until 4pm on Sunday. At 3:42 we walked in and older man shooed us out telling us to GET OUT because they were about to close and that they were open 7 days a week and we should get there earlier!! I'm not sure if he has dementia, but he should never be on the sales floor talking to customers. As we left, there were people standing outside and evidently heard the man yelling and told us we should never shop there. The people are so rude!!!!

Upfront it's crowded with furniture. But I felt the prices were OK for what I bought. I actually love it.

I would give it zero stars if possible. The owner, Kim Davis, at the Waynesville store has zero customer service skills, is dishonest, and impossible to deal with.. I will never walk in the store again... after supporting her store for 3 years and putting up with her terrible attitude, she has finally pissed me off for good... do yourself a favor and support many of the other wonderful businesses in Waynesville.

Kim and her staff helped us buy the furniture we needed for our new home. They are amazing and delivery includes set up - above and beyond! We will be shopping here again!

Disappointed in the customer service. Have bought here several times for our lake house, was looking for the guest house today. Sign on the door said they closed at 5:45pm, google said 6pm. At 5:25pm was informed I couldn’t look downstairs because they were closing in 5 minutes, and she headed straight for the front door. I use to work retail, I get people shopping when it’s time to close and your ready to go home. However, if you don’t post your closing times correctly you can’t get annoyed at your customers. I had planned on making a purchase, but no desire to spend money in this store anymore.
