Truist in general is terrible but this branch in particular is understaffed and those that are there definitely do not have me feeling comfortable with my money. This last visit helped me resolve to finally switch banks after 14 years of banking with Suntrust.

I opened a new account and they are holding my funds for 7 days. I can't pay bills until they allow me. Bad business not to inform people before they put their money in.

Do not bank here. You money is not safe in my opinion. A friend had his debit card # stolen. He had over 65 charges for over $30,000.00 taken from his checking account. After two months of discussing with bank there is no resolution and he is out over $ 30,000.00!How can this happen? Money is not safe at Truist in Waxhaw. Close your account before it happens to you!

The hiring standards have gone way down hill. Used to be smiles and friendly, helpful people. Now it's frowns and looking for ways to avoid transactions.

By far the WORST bank I have dealt with. First I went in to open an account for my living trust. No banker was available, only 1 on the floor and she was busy, so I had to come back, fine. Next day I went back, I presented the Trust document by email to the banker, only to be told I had to have the "original". It is 21st century, SunTrust Bank. No one has so-called "original" on paper any more. I have the same account at Chase, Wells, BOA. No one EVER asked for original copy. My original, if it exists, is at my attorney's office, but I suspect his office would have digitized the file as well. This shows how antiquated and backwards thinking this bank is. Stay away from SunTrust (or Truist as they are called now) unless you want to bank in the 19th century way.

I guess all Truist banks train their employees how to be as raggedy and rude as they can be! Throw this entire brand away!!! And don't even dare call the 1-800 care line. The no help-ianists (my word for people who fake professionalism enough to get you in the door but, behind those doors...it's foul and stinks) of them all in the banking world! This Truist brand is horrible.The two T's in their logo must stand for terrible and trainwreck!!! Why SunTrust??? Why did you leave us with this jacked up banking system!I was with SunTrust for 15 years and probably had one complaint! I can write a book now on the garbage I have encountered since last month (2.2022) I thought merging companies meant something great! Boy was I wrong!! Like I said...throw this entire brand away!

Super disappointed in the customer service providedHad a loss at the ATM. Understandable during merger bugs need to be resolved. ATM issues happen oftenWent into branch to let them know and nobody seemed to care. Just call ATM number to file claim. Started at 12:02Wait is 60 min, they transfer you to claims then get hung up on. Call again, wait 60 min, get hung up on by claims.Did this four times, four hours later call the branch back to see if they can help. They don't answer the phone. Go to branch at 4:45 to ask for help. They had four people behind teller line, one lane open and no one can answer the phone and at least take a message. They don't service their ATM I suggest not to deposit cash in their ATM only withdrawals. Save yourself the aggregation. Felt like they didn't value my business and impossible to communicate with. We'll see how long it takes to get my lost cash back. What happened to this bank?

I have been coming to this particular branch for almost 15 years and each change brings some new people but all are friendly and helpful.The current staff members at AWESOME especially Ameera who always goes out of her way to help me if I have odd ball things to do with credit cards, loans or payoff things to do.Best group ever!!!

I have been coming for years and they have helped us with personal and business banking as well as prior mortgages and loans for home improvement. The personal service is top notch and they always ask about my older mom.

Slowest suntrust ever. No lines, still expect 10 minutes or more just to deposit cash into your account through there drive thru.

I've been coming to this bank for the past 9 months and every time I come in I have to wait for 15-20 minutes. Under-staffed and very slow.
