“Great gift shop. Was looking for a drinking glass with OBX to add to my glass collection, but couldn't find one in any other gift shop. Had nearly given up hope, but during a bicycle ride, I spotted this place and decided to check it out. Glad I did.”
“Fantastic family-owned shop with great service. Prices are very reasonable compared to seashell shops you would find in other areas. Huge selection of shells and many other gift items, definitely something for everyone. I had a younger child with me and staff pointed me in the direction of things she might like in the back part of their store, they checked on us every once in a while to see if we wanted anything brought out of the cases, and were super friendly the entire time we were there. We cut it really close to closing time and they were very gracious about it. We purchased about 30 items and the cashier counted our items and then the lines on the receipt to ensure everything matched up. Not a single negative thing to say about this place, we will absolutely come back when we vacation in OBX again!”

“Very cute place. Much bigger than it looks and it's absolutely packed with stuff. I'm not sure how much of it is local though. It seems like it's mostly mass produced things. Also they are open a little later than most of the other tourist-y shops which was good.”

“I really loved this store! As soon as i walked in I wanted everything! The owner is very friendly and down to earth. She makes her own candles and wax melts each make you think your enjoying a day with your toes in the sand. This place has become a staple in our trips to OBX. Their decor is more reasonably priced then many of the other stores. If you are looking for that unique beach decor with a reasonable price tag make this place your first stop.”
“Great place to get sweets or a few other items from your trip. Always have saltwater taffy and a good variety. Got a fudge bar that was really good, too. Staff was friendly and helpful.”
“This store carries such fun beach gifts, collectibles, jewelry, and home decor, it is hard to walk out without a couple of shopping bags. They have unique clothes, and is so much fun to shop. It is my #1 store in Outer Banks.”

“Do you have a sweet tooth? Are you currently in OBX? Well then head on over to Forbes. Seriously. This confectioner states they have famous taffy and fudge, but they have so much more. Do you remember penny candy? Well....it's no longer a penny but I bet Forbes has your fav. I was excited to see such a variety. If you are looking for souvenirs then you can also find a bevy of really nice things to gift friends and family (or yourself) to remind you of your trip. The only stroke was the lack of red coins. I'm not fond of red hot dollars but the gummy cherry coins are my fav...and I couldn't find them.”
“This is an actual review unlike the fake bad ones found here. Someone obviously wants to ruin this woman's business. Great store for buying tshirts, etc. and well stocked. I walked in late one afternoon and I bought a couple of shirts, etc. Penny (the owner) and I got in a conversation and talked for more than a half hour. Very nice person that does not deserve the abusive langage in some of these fake reviews. If you miss this shop you'll missed a great little store!”
