Unfortunately, I dread visiting this pharmacy. They rarely have medications in stock (we have uncomplicated fills, mostly simple prescriptions like antibiotics for ear or eye infections). The wait times are always horrendous (in-store and drive-thru), they NEVER answer the phone. The staff are nice but often frazzled (understandable with the constant backlog).
We moved to Wake Forest 2 years ago and this location is the most convenient to our home (we have young children so proximity is important for us). We have been hoping things would improve but nothing is changing so we are moving elsewhere.

Two things that happen EVERY time I deal with them...
1) This Walgreens NEVER answers the phone. 2) when you go to pick up a prescription that has been sent in by the provider HOURS earlier, the staff tells you its not ready and that they just got it. A waste of my time, a waste of their time, and a terrible experience for both involved.

This Pharmacy stays swamped HOWEVER, very dedicated staff that give 110% .They will get the job done. Main store is well stocked with friendly staff

The absolute worst pharmacy of all time. I would never trust them with your prescriptions. They never pick up the phone & just leave you on hold. THEY NEVER PICK UP. It’s takes them forever to fill a simple antibiotic and if they don’t have the medicine you need they wait to tell you until it’s almost too late to fill elsewhere. I don’t even know how they are able to be in business. As a person who works in healthcare this place is an absolute joke.

Save yourself the aggravation.This location is horrible. The customer service is horrible and forget about calling in. They don't pick up the phone they continue to place you on hold and not even ask you to hold. Until you give up and hang up. I was on the phone for 51 minutes before I came here to pick up my prescriptions to take them to CVS because they were still not ready from the day before. My daughter had an ear infection. They looked at me like they didn't care, and I was aggravating them. They forgot that I was the customer and they're providing the service. I was treated horribly and I would never do business with Walgreens again. My daughter was in so much pain for two days I needed penicillin for her ear. The lady could not move pass the fact that I complain about no one picking up the phone and asked me to sit and wait in retaliation This was unbelievable I could not believe this was happening to me. Please check to see who was working there 1/20/2024 from from 10am to 11:30pm is when I was trying to call. Then I came in 1/20/24 from 12pm to about 1pm. While my daughter sat there crying from an ear infection. I cannot believe you people did this to me I never been treated like this. Star rating is a zero. You people are horrible I'm disgusted.

You can never get anyone on the phone. Today spent 1/2 hour holding, they picked up several times, and placed me back on hold. 30 minutes of holding disconnected me. I am going to change to a local small chain that provides good customer service.

Multiple times now i have called asking if they have received our rx. They say "yes and it'll be ready within 30 minutes." I get there over an hour/2 hours later and still not ready. Most times these meds are for my children and they are never ready when they say! We will be switching pharmacies. Terrible service! Would not recommend!

Why does it take so long to pick up a prescription here when it's ready? Shouldn't they just have to go get it off the shelf? But the drive thru line always takes a long time to get through. Only use this pharmacy when the one at Harris Teeter is out of stock of a prescription because of this.

The Walgreens on Durham Rd is usually well stocked and the prices are reasonable. The weekly specials are normally really good. The staff is friendly as well. The parking lot is on the small side.

Don't know why people are so bitter about this branch... For an incredibly busy store, I am impressed by how clean and organized it is!! Also had the Covid tests that are so hard to find!

Terrible. Been waiting at the pharmacy drive through for 30 min. Only 2 cars ahead of me. I see why this place has a rating so low. I've never had a good experience at this location.

I came to have my prescription transferred week ago and she said it would be ordered in last Thursday. No notification it was filled so I go in the Monday after and found they don't even have the request in their system.... So I have to start over. For a coupon im not sure this is worth it.
