This store is the absolute worst. Mostly the pharmacy! I am currently on hold and have been hung up on TWICE once I finally was at the front of the line and this is not the first time. Go somewhere else if you have that ability. They SUCK.

Don’t try calling the pharmacy. Most days at most times they don’t answer or worse, hang up on you after you’ve waited more than 10 minutes in their queue. Because of this, everyone goes to the store.At the store you can expect a long line inside and out. I have never, in over two years, been able to have my script filled in less than one visit.The people working here are nice. You can’t imagine they like this anymore that’s customers do. It would be nice if they staffed appropriately of opened another store close by.

First of all I ordered my refills at a different Walgreens location and for some reason this one filled it. When I got there over 4 hours after refilling them, only 2 were ready so I waited another hour for my last medication. When I got back up to the counter, the girl was really rude and said she can fill it, but she has to wait for the pharmacist to approve it. Really?? That hasn’t been done yet?! I ended up leaving because I knew it was going to be a while and I was right because 4 HOURS LATER I get a call that it’s ready. At this point I’m already home eating dinner. Screw Walgreens and especially this location!!

The worst customer service ever. The staff that work the pharmacy counter have no desire to help. After waiting in line for 30 minutes for a prescription refill, I was told the medication was out of stock and on back order with no timeline of when it would be in. This is not a one time issue, every time I go to this location there is fear of if I am actually going to receive my prescription and if so what is the staff’s attitude going to be that day.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered, and I am a prescriber. It seems like they are trying to be obstructionist in getting your medications, never have things filled when they say they will, just lose prescriptions. My elderly auntie who can hardly walk has gone inside just to complain about how terrible their service is. My two parents and husband have all had the same experience. If there was a board to complain to I would. It is dangerous to be so incompetent.

I would not even give them a 0. I was having trouble breathing this morning and stopped for some asthma pills. Unfortunately they make you take a card to the pharmacy and pay for it there. The pharmacist and customer service rep were cackling like a bunch of witches and the girl who runs the cash register was extremely rude. When she finally addressed me she gave me a look with big sarcastic eyes and asked me what my problem is. It went downhill from there and the pharmacist did nothing to help. This was a black girl with long red straightened hair. I told her I was having an attack and just needed to get some medicine and get out of there. Then came more ugliness and she screamed at me from the pharmacy all the way out of the store. I will never go to that Walgreens again. Actually I had never been in this one before. That girl and pharmacist should be fired. Horrible people.

Unfortunately, the Walgreens pharmacy on Durham Rd. in Wake Forest has gone SERIOUSLY downhill since Covid. Our prescriptions have been mismanaged and not ready most of the time. The lines at the drive-up window are 30+ minutes most days. Nothing seems to be getting better, which tells me that the management is not getting the job done. Do better, Walgreens!

The prescription phone system is awful and almost never works correctly.They never send a notification that prescriptions are ready.There is always a long line and a long wait in the drive through.No one seems to care about any of these problems.

On hold for 45 minutes, someone picked up and immediately hung up 6 times. Had appointment for an immunization for over 4 months and now they text me saying they don’t have the serum, canceling my appointment scheduled for tomorrow. How many more months do they need???

Pharmacy staff never answers the phone and just puts you on hold without even asking. Walgreens is horrible, hell all pharmacies and pharmacy staff are. Y'all need to do better!!

The last time I was trying to pick up some medication through the drive through, the behavior was horrible.If you call this pharmacy, you should easily expect 25 minutes of waiting.Maybe too much understaffed.

Terrible service here! Jessica, the manager, was incredibly rude. She insulted me, yelled at my son who's only a toddler, and told us to "Kiss her a**". I have never felt so disrespected or mistreated. One of the employees even tried to talk to her to calm her down and Jessica literally threatened to smack her! I am appalled and Walgreens needs to do something about her and FIX THIS STORE!
