Sad to say my experience was lackluster. Expected better from all the good reviews I have read and was excited to take class during my visit to RDU area. Sterile environment, which is great if you are at the dentist, but not at a yoga studio. Never in my life have I been to a class where the "teacher/owner" is so full of her self it spills over into the class as negative. Never go again. This studio could use a good spiritual cleansing

You will love this yoga studio! I've taken classes with Joanne and Jana and they are both exceptional teachers. They've made their classes fun and challenging. Whether you're new to yoga or been practicing for years, you'll find the classes enjoyable. It is such an accepting atmosphere that it feels like home to me. I've also taken a Nia class with Lindy - what fun! This is a great studio.

Absolutely love Wake Forest Yoga. Love Joanne's classes. Nia with Lindy is so fun and upbeat and Friday flow with Renee is the perfect way to end the week.

The Wake Forest Yoga Studio is a fabulous place to take either a yoga class or a Pilates class. The studio space itself is breathtaking with the yoga wall and the calm and peaceful decor. The studio is on the second floor and there is an elevator available if needed. The instructors are wonderful and very accommodating to those of us who need modified poses due to prior injuries. The classes are very accepting too so nobody feels left out from the beginner to the more advanced student as they find a way to make it challenging for all of us.I love the wide variety of classes offered from classes that focus on just the basics to classes that go slow movements to the more meditative classes focusing on breathing and stretching. There are a lot of advanced classes and while I am not close to do any of that yet, it is impressive to see others use the yoga wall and headstands. A really nice thing about the studio is that you can just sign up for one class to give it a try without any further obligation. They also provide yoga mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets and belts to use during class. They also allow walk ins so you don't even need to register ahead. Most classes are $14. They also offer discounted classes if you pay for a few at the same time. There is a 5, 7 and 12 class deal that can be used over 3-4 months. If you are looking for a place to try yoga or looking for a great studio, this is the place to go.
