Surprisingly there weren't many customers there around 1:30. Phone purchasing is always slow so I expected that, but 2 young guys really acted as though they didn't want to help. I was told to go to different locations twice while they made small conversation and giggles with customers they were serving. I mean really there's a time and place for that. We are there to purchase and move on. It's a workplace not a Social Hour. You need a real Supervisor that can keep things moving in courteous way...Please respect us and our time. You're getting paid for yours. We are not.

We attended 12 weeks of dog training with Katelynn. She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. Our dog (and the humans in my family!) learned so much highly recommend!

The employees were so friendly and professional. They had great knowledge and really cared about the pets. Only gave 4 stars due to the lacking section for small animals. The knightdale store had so much in that area, but every other petco I go to now, barely have anything for hamsters

I went in to pick out 2 goldfish for my daughter, once she picked one out she wanted I went up to a gentleman to ask for assistance, he said he would come help. She showed him which fish she wanted, he tried to catch it but it was super fast and we lost the fish. He was very patient and kind to her, the three of us searched for the fish she wanted. We couldn't find it and she picked another one, he caught that one. She was unsure of the second one she wanted so he said take our time and keep an eye on the one we want while he helped another guest. She found one and we kept an eye on it til he came back, she showed him which one she wanted and he again was very patient and kind, and caught the fish. He handed her the bag of fish with a smile on his face and said to come back and visit him, I asked for his name told me it was Frankie. He is the most kind, patient, and gentle person I have come across in a very long time and appreciated the time and attention he gave to my daughter.

I an new to the area and my first stop was for dog food.Staff were friendly and store was clean. One employee even shared a great tip on a sale item.Which I snagged for my little dog.Overall a great experience. Ill be back often.

Would leave 10 stars if I could for Gracie!!! My fiancé bought a ball python today as a first time reptile owner. Gracie was incredibly knowledgeable about snakes and how to provide the best care for my new member of the family! Gracie enthusiastically answered all my pet care questions and even showed me products that would be best for my fiancés new friend and also helped him carry our goods to the car. Gracie went above and beyond and made a huge impact on my day. So sweet and helpful! I will absolutely be coming back to the Wake Forest Petco.

If I could I will give 0 ⭐️. To begin I told the associate I wanted the cut fluffy, she shave the 5 months old toy poodle to the lowest with the clippers. Didn’t clean the ears, some nail were cut some left uncut. The puppy didn’t have an odor when I dropped it off, when I picked it up it smell bad like if she used wipes on it, not pleasant. My five years old daughter asked me to bathe the puppy. The puppy is traumatized won’t eat or play, will shake sometimes and I waited 24hrs after the service to write this. $60.00 for what. Even I’m stressed to see the puppy like that, to be honest I didn’t sleep all night that’s how bad it is. Never going back.

I went to look at this aquarium kit and had some questions about it. The staff member opened the box so I could see how it looked and how it was put together. I needed to think about it so ended up ordering online the next day. Can’t wait to stock it with some small fish.

My puppy got red eyes after the bathing this time. She is four months old. I took her to petco for bathing before, she was a little anxious but that was generally good. However, this time I booked her with another groomer(I choose the "any groomer" option while booking), that groomer aborted the bathing, claiming that my puppy was misbehaving, needs to be transferred to a vet to get tranquilizer, and she even blocked me from using petco grooming service in the future. I'm very confused, your colleague can give my puppy a bath, why you can not? Isn't it your own problem that your are not professional enough to bath a puppy? She is a four months old puppy! She is anxious and can't you be more patient and gentle? You should go bath a stuffed toy puppy if you want your service target to be not misbehaving! What's even more ridiculous is that, the groomer blocked me from using Petco grooming service in the future. I am so disappointed.

Great staff in the grooming department! My dog had such a good time and the groomers are all so sweet. I understand they have some AC problems and I'm not understanding of why such a large company could have these minor issues. Management needs to get a hold on this problem.

Stay away from Petco grooming in wake forest 27587 store in NC . They are the worst groomers ever. Now I know why they haven't had groomers in a long time. Brought my 10 yrs shihtzu for a cut cause her regular groomer was backed up for 3 months and this is what they do. They charged me half price $31.06 for this ? They didn't Evan give her a bath ! They told me they couldn't finish her . I never had a problem with any of my dogs .They left hair on her belly hair on her front paws and shaved half of 1 leg and left hair that could be cut . Started the other leg and never finished. They told me I had to bring her to a vet with a groomer cause they can't use a certain blade. I think they didn't know how to do a hind leg that has a dewclaw. They are liars cause I came home got my cheap dog clippers . And I was able to shave the rest of her legs . And the best part they told me they are not allowed to use scissors ? Called corporate let's see if they call me back!!!!! Well they just lost a very good customer I'm not stepping foot in that store ever. I rather goto Petsmart to get my dog supplies . This is how they left my dog .

I scheduled to bring my Sharpei in for grooming with the representative and discussed the services needed. When I arrived today the Manager quoted me a higher price. When I spoke with them I was quoted a different price. I decided to go with a cheaper package. Then when I asked the manager about ensuring he get a good brushing. She advised me there was a note in the system stating they couldn't brush him with the regular system due to the last appointment. The groomer made my dog bleed, accidentally by busting some blisters on his leg and he had to be seen by a vet. I asked as his owner can he be brushed properly due to his shedding but not brush his hinds leg and was advised no. Two hours later I get a call from the groomer stating that they couldn't finish grooming my dog because he snipped the groomer. Remind you my dog is 7 years old and has never bit a vet or groomer. I was told it wasn't hard, the groomer didn't bleed but since he showed sign of AGGRESSION he couldn't come back again and they weren't able to complete the grooming. When I arrived the manager first name starts with a M was smirking at me through the window. When I explained to the groomer he has never did that. His words was he must be having a bad day. No I think because I question the manager she became offensive and I believe they did something to my dog to make him snap at him. I would never bring my dog to such unprofessional people.
