Surprisingly there weren't many customers there around 1:30. Phone purchasing is always slow so I expected that, but 2 young guys really acted as though they didn't want to help. I was told to go to different locations twice while they made small conversation and giggles with customers they were serving. I mean really there's a time and place for that. We are there to purchase and move on. It's a workplace not a Social Hour. You need a real Supervisor that can keep things moving in courteous way...Please respect us and our time. You're getting paid for yours. We are not.

We attended 12 weeks of dog training with Katelynn. She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. Our dog (and the humans in my family!) learned so much highly recommend!

The employees were so friendly and professional. They had great knowledge and really cared about the pets. Only gave 4 stars due to the lacking section for small animals. The knightdale store had so much in that area, but every other petco I go to now, barely have anything for hamsters

I went in to pick out 2 goldfish for my daughter, once she picked one out she wanted I went up to a gentleman to ask for assistance, he said he would come help. She showed him which fish she wanted, he tried to catch it but it was super fast and we lost the fish. He was very patient and kind to her, the three of us searched for the fish she wanted. We couldn't find it and she picked another one, he caught that one. She was unsure of the second one she wanted so he said take our time and keep an eye on the one we want while he helped another guest. She found one and we kept an eye on it til he came back, she showed him which one she wanted and he again was very patient and kind, and caught the fish. He handed her the bag of fish with a smile on his face and said to come back and visit him, I asked for his name told me it was Frankie. He is the most kind, patient, and gentle person I have come across in a very long time and appreciated the time and attention he gave to my daughter.

The Folks at PETCO Wake Forest, are awesome!They took me walking in around 400pm and did both my little furry buddies!Great care and attention. Not necessary, but I tipped them $10. For their speedy and wonderful care. I will recommend Petco Wake Forest to everyone and feel confident you will be happy with the results.Cheers! ????? ? ????

I an new to the area and my first stop was for dog food.Staff were friendly and store was clean. One employee even shared a great tip on a sale item.Which I snagged for my little dog.Overall a great experience. Ill be back often.

Would leave 10 stars if I could for Gracie!!! My fiancé bought a ball python today as a first time reptile owner. Gracie was incredibly knowledgeable about snakes and how to provide the best care for my new member of the family! Gracie enthusiastically answered all my pet care questions and even showed me products that would be best for my fiancés new friend and also helped him carry our goods to the car. Gracie went above and beyond and made a huge impact on my day. So sweet and helpful! I will absolutely be coming back to the Wake Forest Petco.

If I could I will give 0 ⭐️. To begin I told the associate I wanted the cut fluffy, she shave the 5 months old toy poodle to the lowest with the clippers. Didn’t clean the ears, some nail were cut some left uncut. The puppy didn’t have an odor when I dropped it off, when I picked it up it smell bad like if she used wipes on it, not pleasant. My five years old daughter asked me to bathe the puppy. The puppy is traumatized won’t eat or play, will shake sometimes and I waited 24hrs after the service to write this. $60.00 for what. Even I’m stressed to see the puppy like that, to be honest I didn’t sleep all night that’s how bad it is. Never going back.

Had my pup groomed. They did a nice job! Trimmed my cavalier just the way I asked. He looked awesome!

The staff were beyond rude. I explained to the groomer that my puppy had been attacked previously and is anxious around people. She is a very loving Goldendoodle (one of the most family friendly dogs), but takes a minute to warm up since she is cautious. The groomer did not give my puppy more than 30 seconds before trying to put a choke leash on. The groomer then tugged on the leash and my puppy growled since she was scared. After that they kicked her out and said they can't groom her. It was very unprofessional and I expected better from a groomer who supposedly loves animals. They need to be more loving to animals that come in especially if they are anxious due to previous traumas. At the very least they need put in effort to show the animals that they are loving and safe before trying to drag them away. I will happily take my business elsewhere and advise others to do the same.

I went to look at this aquarium kit and had some questions about it. The staff member opened the box so I could see how it looked and how it was put together. I needed to think about it so ended up ordering online the next day. Can’t wait to stock it with some small fish.

Great staff in the grooming department! My dog had such a good time and the groomers are all so sweet. I understand they have some AC problems and I'm not understanding of why such a large company could have these minor issues. Management needs to get a hold on this problem.
