Extremely rude staff - employee at register checking me out was beyond rude when I had said “I downloaded the app for the discount…”Keep in mind there are signs ALL OVER the store saying ”download our app to get a special discount” (for my first time being there I thought in store was included in that offer because it was NOT specified)The signs were EXTREMELY misleading and staff was beyond unprofessional when I was trying to clarify the promotion.

I just had to share my experience… I came across this store on a late night scroll, I reached out and was hooked up with a personal shopper ? since I live out of state can I just say how thankful I am for an employee named Melissa who was able to help me get all my Christmas shopping done in one phone conversation... winnnnnnnning Christmas!! Great selection and inventory, I highly recommend!

Great store, staff are always very attentive, all of my family and friends shop here!!! Whether it’s last second holiday shopping or shopping just because, Lily Mae’s and their staff never disappoint. 10 out 10 definitely recommend!!!

Every time I go to Lilymaes, everyone is so attentive, they always know how to help me find what I’m looking for- and everyone always greets me which I love!!! Best customer service always!!!

I have visited this store three times in the past 4 years. I’ve spent money and my husband gave me a $150 gift card last year. I initially raved to my friends about the quality of clothing and the items were of great quality until I encounter the over achieving customer service tactic that was uninviting and unwelcoming. My second and third experience has been uncomfortable. My most recent experience was last week when the salesperson took the item I was holding out of my hand to the front after I informed her that I wanted to search for something to match with it. I decided not to purchase the item.This was my second experience. The owner never addressed my concerns. Her consistent reply, “ I will talk to the girls about this” without recognizing that’s how her staff are trained. I have as watched closely as if I was going to shoplift. Sales associates standing behind clothes, while pretending to straighten clothes on the rack. The staff make you feel uncomfortable. Discrimination comes in several forms. As an African American, I felt a sense of unwelcoming vibe from the salesperson. I did not witness the sales associates treating anyone else they way I was treated. I will spread my experience among other social media platforms.

Extremely rude staff.. super unwelcoming. Melissa especially.. my mom and I were shopping around the store with our small puppy (we were holding her the entire time). Two little girls were loving on our new pup and bringing us stuff in the store she may like. They offered a small bag to put her in- which we tried but ultimately didn’t want the bag.. we were just pleasing the little girls! Melissa came up while we were checking out and said “so… you DONT want the bag that the dog was in… I watched you guys on camera walk around the whole store with the dog in the bag”… we explained that no, unfortunately we didn’t want the bag/ couldn’t even afford to spend $70 on a Fanny pack. She stormed off and left us thinking we MUST buy the bag. After she walked away… even the staff was confused and had to call her back out to confirm whether or not we are required to buy the bag. She very rudely said “well no, BUT..” and went off on a tangent. She never stopped yelling at us as we walked out the store. It was mortifying and embarrassing in front of all the costumers. I felt awful for my mom & the pup.

I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars in this boutique, and I have never been treated the way the I was today by staff. My young child was having a dreaded meltdown over a stuffed animal. I calmly assisted him in picking one out and went to check out. I witnessed two staff members whispering about my circumstance while blatantly starring at me, arriving at checkout I felt incredibly judged and was told my items were “boy that’s cheap (giggles)” maybe the intent wasn’t intended but the experience left me feeling judged and not desiring to come back in this store for quite some time. Is this what empowering women looks like, especially mothers?

Lily Mae’s saved the day! I had a baby shower to attend and waited until the last minute to purchase a gift. Heading home from vacation with two dogs in the car, 95 degree weather, I could not park and shop and leave my fur babies in the sweltering heat. I had no time to spare to make it to the shower on time. So I put out an SOS call to Lily Mae’s knowing they have an amazing selection of baby gifts. Angela answered the phone and was most helpful. They are always busy in the store so I wasn’t sure she’d have time to assist me but she was polite and enthusiastic. I gave her a budget and theme. She picked out a great gift and texted a photo for my approval. I paid over the phone and when I arrived back in town, little detour at the store, she brought it to my car wrapped and ready for the shower. I headed home, dropped off my pooches and made it to party on time. Mama-to-be loved the gifts. I am extremely grateful to Angela and Lily Mae’s!
