I have never seen a more organized Goodwill in my life. I wish I'd taken a pic of the expertly color coded rows of pants....it was so satisfying to see! Not too many housewares....mostly clothes.

This store and all goodwills is terrible. I refuse shop anywhere that treat people like criminals. First they stop offering bags and said we have bring your own. Now they say that they have to see what is in your bag causing you to repack your bag because they have to search it. This was a bad idea from the start. This will only cause a lot conflict and is very disrespectful. What kind business cannot afford bags for its customers? This is not about the environment. It is not like they have buy inventory. It is about greed! On top of that they have the nerve to ask for roundup when paying for your purchase. How much of the round do you really think is going to the food bank? They take the better items and sell them online to other customers and the in the trash in showcase and charge ridiculous prices. Very bad experience so sad!

I bought some dvds. They tried to charge me per disc. Like if a movie was over two discs like Harry Potter it was twice the price? Despite the package saying 1$ will be calling corporate as this policy seems wrong .

When I visited other thrift stores, the pricing were significantly lower, but the personnel were kind and the store was very clean and organized.

GW - Wake Forest (off Capital Blvd)If there was an option for a -0, I would give it…I went in to purchase a sewing machine that I was informed was available for purchase by a GW employee. The machine I discovered before ringing up did not have a cord and I wanted to make sure it work before purchasing it. I inquired about this and the cashier looked at me dumbfounded. I started researching to see if I could order the cord and foot pedal and saw that both combined cost were to be over $60 & I even asked if the cost of the machine could be discounted due to both cords were missing and the cost of the new cords, the cashier scoffed and said “well if you’re buying new cords, you might as well go to Walmart and get a whole new machine”…..I nicely walked out and am on my way to do just that; purchase a new machine at Walmart.I would have took my chances and purchased that machine because I know the proceeds do help within the community but that cashier’s nasty attitude is why I would definitely not.

I was in the store when a Spanish speaking gentleman was trying to purchase an item. It was clear he was speaking broken English/Spanish and trying to explain what he wanted. The cashier, whom I could not see, was being short with him. Other customers around me were commenting on how rude the cashier was being to the man, so I know I’m not alone in this feeling. After the man left another shopper or associate must’ve asked what the man wanted, and the cashier responded “I don’t know, he was jumping between broken Spanish and English. Just pick one.” Her tone was unkind. As a former ELL teacher I wish I could make people understand how difficult it is to learn a new language and to show more compassion. This behavior was unacceptable. I shop here frequently and while some associates are kind, some are not. It’s clear based on the poor upkeep of the store that they are understaff and it is a management issue. Another goodwill a mile away is in excellent condition.

Looking for an item(s) that were wrongfully donated by my grandfathers nursing home, but they won’t tell me where they were donated to. All of his clothes and blankets were donated and I am trying to find them with anybodys help. This is a blanket I am trying to find to hopefully lead me to the rest of his items. He’s had this blanket for over 30 years, help me find it & bring it back to him.

I haven't done GW shopping for a while. This location overcrowds the shelves with items. It's overwhelming and aesthetically just looks junked up.FYI, this place was hopping on Sunday at 12. I used to work for GWI and it's always been about pushing out as much as possible to the floor.I think more discretion needs to be used in regards to what makes it to the floor! ?
