The pharmacy service is absolutely atrocious. I have been stuck using this pharmacy for 2 years due to insurance limitations, and I have had significantly more negative experiences than positive when it comes to the pharmacy staff. It is a regular occurrence to have your phone call answered to be put on hold (no problem, it is a busy place) but then after a few seconds, they pick up the phone and hang up the call. Truth be told, you’re considered lucky if they even answer the phone. I have picked up prescriptions in person and watched the staff ignore the phone lines for over 20 minutes while I waited for my prescription to be called in. They consistently claim they never received a prescription despite other pharmacy locations admitting that they can see that it has been called in to this location but not filled. When you have a question about a prescription, you may be met with a dismissive pharmacist that says “read the label.” And hangs up on you. I genuinely never leave reviews, but the service has been so consistently awful for so long that I feel obligated to share my experience. At this point, I am choosing to pay out-of-pocket prices for my medication over returning to this poorly-managed, unaccountable pharmacy team.

I received a text message at 12:32 pm stating that today was the final day to pick up my prescription. When I went through the drive thru, the cashier told me that my prescription was not ready because they had put my prescription back up. I showed the cashier the text I received stating that I had through today to pick up my medication. The cashier said that they put the meds back up around 12 pm. I didn't receive the text until 12:32 pm stating that I had today to pick my medicine up. Then the cashier was rude and stated that I have had 2 weeks to pick up my medicine. I have been on vacation. He then told me that it would be ready in 2 hours and to come back. If my insurance didn't require me to use CVS, I would go elsewhere.

I was helped at the drive through by Tayler, it was a very smooth and friendly transaction. I only waited 15 minutes or so as the fourth person in line behind some very large orders!

Pharmacist was very nice. Had to get vaccinated in chair because the door to the vaccination room was locked.

I went to the minute clinic in CVS. I was prescribed 3 medications that i asked to be filled there at the pharmacy. I waited 20-30 mins for the meds to be filled, only to find out that only 2 made it to them. I explained the minute clinic there prescribed 3. The pharmacy tech looked at me like I had 2 heads and said only 2 made it to them. My options, wait another 20-30 mins in hopes it would make it the 20 feet from the minute clinic to the pharmacy, or come back tomorrow in hopes they finally receive the prescription.

I went in for a few medications prescribed by our doctor and there seemed to be an issue with the insurance and type of medication covered. There was a small wait but the pharm tech Abigail, was very helpful in clearing up the confusion. She handled it in a quick and efficient manner and I was able to get what I needed. Great job to her and I recommend speaking to her whenever there's an issue.

This place has got to be the record holder for worst CVS in existence. I’ve been coming here for a year- doesn’t matter if it’s a simple phone call, drive thru prescription, or vaccine appointment, they ALWAYS take forever and staff are rude & incompetent. I’ve finally learned my lesson to switch to another pharmacy.

No point in reserving an appointment as they don't abide by the scheduled times, and bring in clients that are "more convenient" to their schedule. I waited over 90 min for my scheduled appointment and watched 2 people schedule an appointment at the kiosk only to get treated before me. I would understand if they were running behind, but they clearly picked clients with no merit. Complete waste of time and terrible service. I would go to ANY other CVS in the state before coming back here. Please save your time and energy, drive the extra few minutes to the next closest location.The only saving grace was that Dr. Saunders was very helpful and kind. She stayed well past 7:30 to finish both mine, and my girlfriends testing.

The CVS Pharmacy in Downtown Wake Forest just isn't as nice as it used to be. The store is not well stocked. Service is friendly and there is a good sized parking lot. But the store doesn't seem to carry much variety of products anymore and what they do carry might not be on the shelf.

Today is Monday 9/11/2023. I was tested at this location last Tuesday for covid with a temp of 102.5. Test came back negative. Tested 4 days later and I'm positive the lady never swabbed my nose she took a sample off the plastic cap off of the tool they use to look in your ears. She looked up my nose then in my ears. Now I have a double ear infection thanks for nothing CVS.

Literally the worst pharmacy I have ever been. Scheduled a COVID test, checked in did everything I was supposed to do. Waited and waited, finally went over to pharmist and the employees there could not care less and acted like the minute clinic had nothing to do with them. I wish CVS would just file bankruptcy. They are horrible!

Two older white workers stood in aisle talking and blocking my view of products. When I approached the sectioned I wanted to shop at they continued to stand in the way, talking loudly. They obviously have nothing to do in that store but gossip on the aisle.

Nadia in the pharmacy is the best. No matter how crazy my day has been, she's so nice and my anxiety medicine is ready in no time. CVS is very lucky to have her. She's a great employee for customer service!
