This company is located in Wake Forest, NC. I am amazed at how this company has placed priority in the quality of their associates and in the up keep of their facilities. This store cashier was very respectful and he was appropriately dressed to interact with the public. Also, the cleaniest of the store was immaculate, to include items on sale were aligned perfectly on the shelves and the floor. The furniture was of very good quality, with the Broyhill collection being a higher quality and competitive pricing.

This is the last time me and my family will ever shop at this Big lots location. Manager was extremely disrespectful and rude to us. as we were leaving the store The manager decided to cuss me and my husband in front of our small child. Over an item that rang up more at the checkout than what it showed on the shelf. I ended up contacting corporate and letting them know how he spoke to us.

Something for everyone, indoor and outdoor, recreational, bed and bath, food, auto, pet accessories, cleaners and so much more, all under one roof. Very nice polite staff.

The store manager is not helpful and extremely rude. I went to Glenwood store and I'm glad I did, their store manager is the most professional, helpful! He is the Best. All the staff at Glenwood Ave location are awesome, worth the drive. Stay away from wake forest location.

A nice selection of reasonably priced items. But very poor customer services. The checkout staff acted as if you were bothering them. No smiles. No pleasantries. Only scowls.

I like the selection and prices in this store, and I think it's well organized. I've been shopping here since they opened, but no more.
Why? First off, THE SMELL. When you first walk in there's a pungent, terrible odor (think weeks-long uncleaned litterboxes of multiple cats) but it's smellable all over the store. It used to not be as bad, but I could hardly stand it the last time I was there.
I can't believe there aren't reviews mentioning it. Either people are nose-deaf, or so accustomed to an even worse smell that they don't care.
Awful smell aside, I've seen employees stealing more than once. The last time I was there I saw one take something off the shelf, remove the packaging, and begin using the item. I feel uncomfortable having my money handled by someone who's comfortable stealing from the same store I'm shopping in.
