Very unprofessional. He use to be a man of his word and we always recommended him to everyone, but the last 2 years he will ignore your calls or tell you he will do a job and then leave you high and dry. Will never go try to get in touch with him again. Good luck on your business, you're gonna need it running customers off like this.

We were so very happy with the service provided by your company today (November 17)! The installer was on-time, courteous, and meticulous in his work. He also provided a contact to us for a headliner replacement and we’ve already dropped our van off. My wife, unfortunately, failed to write down the installer’s name or we would have called him out by name in this email. Please pass along our thanks again to him on our behalf.Service: Replace windshield

The owner did not even call me back for a quote on my windshield said he did not have time to do it

As the year 2020 would have it, my boyfriend purchased a brand new car, a 2021 Dodge Challenger, on 12/31/20, just several hours before the new year. As he was literally driving off the lot, a rock hit his car cracking his windshield. Several days later, the tiny crack settled turning into about a foot long crack down the driver's side of the windshield. At this point, we knew the entire windshield needed replacing and not repairing. (No, we regrettably didn't take pictures; not a memory we wanted to keep.) To ease his stress - among many other emotions - I decided to do my part and assist with the windshield replacement. Since we are in Boone for the winter holidays, I searched for businesses around the area here. I contacted the local Dodge dealership, SafeLite Auto Glass in Hickory, and Magoo's, in that order, all on the morning of Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021. Because of the holiday, these were the only places that were marked "Open" on a Google search. The Dodge dealership told me it would cost over $700 for the glass alone, and this was not including labor. They wouldn't even be the ones repairing the vehicle either; they'd be the middlemen sending it off somewhere else. The earliest they could get to working on the car was mid-Jan. After several tries, I finally got in touch with a national representative from SafeLite, who told us it would likely be around $700, but we would receive a personalized quote likely in 5 days. I am not sure we ever did. Finally, we visited the website of Magoo's Auto Glass (magbuz.com), and filled out the form online to request an instant quote. Within an hour, a quote was send to us via email. We were shocked. Shocked at the fast, personal reply, and shocked at the price, which was notably less than competitor's pricing by more than HALF! We were in. We called to set up an appointment, which was able to be completed the same week (Thursday). Woah! Mitchell was very knowledgable, asking personalized questions about my boyfriend's Dodge Challenger pertaining to OEM glass and whether he'd like this kind or that kind, etc. After placing the order, he even called us back later in the evening to assure us it had gone through and keep us updated on the process. The night before our 10:00am appointment, Mitchell texted to let us know about a snow warning and informed us we could drop the vehicle off a day before if that would be better for us. How thoughtful! We opted not to do this as I do not like driving on windy mountain roads at night, but wow. I even called Mitchell myself to ask questions about his location, and he answered right away, patiently providing honest answers to my myriad questions. We dropped the vehicle off around 8:00 am. By 2:00 pm the same day, Mitchell texted that the car was ready. It was that easy. I highly recommend Magoo's Auto Glass if you ever need windshield repair or replacement. The heated windshield was installed well with no issues, and Mitchell was knowledgeable, honest, hard-working, helpful, considerate, and affordable.

Had Magoo's replace my cracked windshield. The rubber molding started to come out after about 2 months. I bought some time by trying to glue it back in myself, but a few months after that, the molding had come completely out of one side and halfway across the top (see photos). I have never had this happen before. I left several phone messages, emails and a text with photos. My inquiries were never responded to. I went by his Boone shop a few times, but he was never there, so I finally gave up. Apparently that office is closed though it is still listed on Google. I reported him to my insurance company, but because he wasn't on their approved list and I had gotten special permission to use him, there was nothing they could do. My $100 co-pay was wasted. Update: Owner called me after my review went online (call witnessed). Denied ever having received contact from me, which is exactly why I used three methods to reach him. I still have the text with photos that I sent and my call logs show that I phoned him. The only method I can't prove is email because his email address isn't published, so I had to use his online form, which doesn't leave me a copy. Yes, I did wait to post this review, but not as long as he suggests as it took some time for the rubber to peel out as much as it did. Nevertheless, waiting 9 months to post a review doesn't make it untrue. He offered to replace the windshield, but it should be obvious from the photos that I could not have driven around like this all these months. I would have been pulled over if seen by the police and it wasn't safe. I explained that while I no longer have the car today, I did have to deal with it at the time. FInally, I do not post reviews under my real name because I believe there's risk for people, particularly women, to do so. When he threatened to publish my real name, I told him I did not want him to do that. The fact that he did appears to be payback? I went here because of the 5 star reviews on Yelp and on Google, which is why I'm willing to have my name outed to detail my experience.

***Highly Recommend*** Went on Google maps to find a local auto glass shop in Boone N.C., to replace my windshield that was damaged by a turkey. Found Magoo's, what a God sent, and I gave them a call. They gave me a price right away over the phone. The price was very reasonable. Best price I found in town. They came to my house to replace the windshield. The technician was very nice and curtious. The workmanship was superior. They even vacuumed all the damaged glass out my car and gave me a warranty with the windshield...
