Rooms: Quite nice, comfortable and the sheets are amazing.Nearby activities: Plenty of places to hike, shop and sightsee. Ask the friendly and helpful owners and staff, they will point you in the right direction.Food & drinks: There are plenty of restaurants within a short driving distance from the Inn. I'm sure the owners or staff can help you make just the right choice.

My friend and I were in town for a horse show (of course) and thought we had reserved accommodations at a different inn…it wasn’t until we were in the lobby at 7pm that we learned we had accidentally booked at an inn with the same name hours away! We were rather dispassionately turned out and in a panic, not knowing where we were going to sleep, we called the Greenlife. They had a room available and asked if we could give them an hour to just make sure it was clean and ready. We went to dinner and came back to the Greenlife, where we were warmly greeted and treated like family. They were very intentional in making sure we would have breakfast to-go in time to make it to the show, and they had a fridge both downstairs and in the room stocked with bottled water, sparkling water, and snacks. The accommodations were very comfortable, well-appointed, and adorably decorated. The breakfast was delicious with homemade muffins, breakfast sandwiches, scones, fruit, you name it! The house and grounds are lovely and historic; we arrived after dark and left before light so we didn’t get to spend much time on them, but I can guarantee that we will be staying nowhere but the Greenlife whenever we’re in town. I’m really looking forward to the next visit, and many many thanks to Mary and Kevin for saving us and making it such a thoroughly wonderful experience!

I loved every nook of this historic place! I didn't want to leave. I was here for a work event and will be bringing the family back with me next time! The owners are amazing and the home baked goods were outstanding. We would walk into the house after a long day and the muffins baking would make you want it to be breakfast already! It felt like home . The beds are so comfortable and this place is worth a visit!!!Kevin & Mary, outstanding job, I will be back!!

Beautiful property, the rooms are really nice, and it’s so close to restaurants in Tryon.

When all of the B&Bs and hotels in Brevard were full for a summer camp drop-off we had to extend our net farther afield. I'm so glad we did! GreenLife was a great place to stay -- the house is so interesting and well-cared for, and Tryon is such a cute little small town. The one-hour drive to Brevard was totally doable, so I highly recommend this B&B to summer camp families looking to spend a few days in this part of NC!

Did not say anything about children till we were about to check in 24hrs prior wanting them to be approved. Spoke with owner about canceling but daughter canceled our reservations and only refunded 50%. I would not stay at this place if they offered to pay me poor customer service.

Greenlife Inn is a magical place. The old historic building is very unique and has so many interesting little touches throughout. The front yard is gorgeous with big old trees and sitting on the porch was so relaxing. Mary and Kevin are very kind and I really enjoyed getting to know them. There are sweet fluffy stray cats that wander by and say hello. The bed was comfortable, the towels were soft and big, and the muffins and coffee were delicious. The rooms are also nice and spacious. I really enjoyed myself and even though I was working, it felt like a getaway. Also the WiFi was fast and super reliable! I hope to have a reason to come back soon! Thank you so much. ???

We had the most pleasant stay. The inn is beautiful and feels like home away from home! Mary was most accommodating and even had our room ready early so my husband and boys had a home base while I ran a 6 hour long race! Also, breakfast was so good!! I highly recommend this place to everyone!
