Found that I had a leak in my passenger rear tire and took it to Montgomery Ford in Troy NC dealership to get the tire plugged. I also have an extended warranty through Ford. Less than 1 hour later, I am told that they are unable to fix the tire because it is too thin to be replaired. They could get me new tires by Monday. When I got back to the dealership, i'm told I would need to pay fifteen dollars essentially to take off the bad tire and put on the donut tire since I was not going to have them put on the new tires. I told them that since they had not done anything to the vehicle that I would just drive it off their parking lot the same way I brought it in. I was told by the female in the service department that I could not take that vehicle because it would be a hazard on the road. REALLY!!! I informed them that I would take my vehicle and leave it as is again. A female manager came out and did agree to have my donut tire changed for me and at no charge!
My opinion is that Ford montgomery is unscrupulous and untruthful. I took my vehicle back to HillBish in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
Without telling them about what happened to me at the Montomery Ford dealership located in Troy nc, they fixed my tire and plugged it at no charge. Therefore, it was a lie about my tire, not being able to be fixed, as it was told to me by montgomery ford. They are just horrible trying to rip off people, and they lost out on an opportunity that I could have made them my dealership, what a tragic lost!
Not a response in over a month.
It figures.
Went into the dealership to have my tire repaired for a Ford Maverick. When I left the dealership and got home I noticed that my tire had been thrown in the back of the truck bed. That is not where that tire goes these people are so lazy that they don't even put the tire back where it should have been. If this is how they pay attention detail I would never take my vehicle there for any kind of repair work. So sloppy I would hate to think I took my vehicle by for an oil change and they left the oil cap out or didn't do something else that allow the oil to leak out and ruin my engine
