I've been banking with First Citizens for years and had to call this branch to settle an issue I was having with an international wire transfer. The issue was my fault as I put in the wrong number for the wire. Keri went above and beyond to help me track the transfer and understand the issue. She was great and super helpful!”

“They are always nice to me, even without knowing I have an account. Then came the day I needed to pay someone in Virginia serious money quickly. I can't recall her name, but a manager explained all the rules to me. And offered to above and beyond to help me. Her first suggestion turned out to work and everything was resolved with minimal effort, but it was nice knowing there were backup plans.I love it when they apologize for asking security questions before letting me have my money. But folks, think about it: if they do not know who you are, do you want them letting any stranger or crook taking your money out? I suspect most of the detractors have problems with every bank.They might hate me for this, but yeah, the rates they pay are low and they do have fees (never doing foreign currency or checks here); I keep money at other banks for better interests rates. But, when I need a bank that is in 37 states and has professional and pleasant people Wells is there. It is reason enough for me to keep a few hundred in the account.Their online banking is also top tier. Sure they are a little cautious. I am sure they make plenty of money on all the money that goes through the bank for my bills, but so be it. It makes life easy.Last, but not least is their Cash Wise card. I don't know what credit score you need for it, but I love the cash back. Straight percentage from day one (I don't think DC does it from day one) and no revolving categories (One of the C banks).”

“I recently had some fraudulent activity going on with my checking account and I will say initially I was extremely upset with how I was handled by customer service in the recovery department. I was put on hold numerous times because after long wait times, my call would get dropped. Needless to say, once my account finally got a hold on it, I went to my local branch with huge concerns because my balance was literally $0! I was so upset and I said to myself that I may have to find another bank if this doesn't get resolved quickly and with some compassion unlike what I had experienced with customer service on the phone the day before. The young lady that represents PNC Statesville, Kalan is an absolute angel. She cares so much about her customers and has a genuine concern when this type situation occurs. She is also very smart and knowledgeable about her job and I know this young lady has a wonderful future helping people. PNC could not have gotten luckier by having her represent them here in Statesville NC. I personally want to let everyone know she is the main reason I will continue to bank with PNC after this situation I am experiencing.
