We bought a mattress less than a year ago and it's already falling apart. The springs are separating and coming out of the side of the mattress. We got approved through the warranty but here's the kicker, they want us to pay $175 shipping costs for them to ship a new one. Now how is that the customers responsibility when the product we purchased is DEFECTIVE! We've already paid full price for this mattress and since it was a defective product, they want us to pay another $175 to ship a new one. Pitiful customer service. I will never purchase anything else from this company nor will I ever recommend any of their products. I hope this review can save at least one person from making the same mistake we did.

Expensive but good mattress so far. However, customer service was pretty terrible. The first delivery attempt failed because they forgot to even put the mattress in the delivery truck (forced me to waste a day off from work). Second attempt was over a week later. Overall, it took over 3 weeks from order to delivery. I also had an issue with billing, which they took weeks to respond to...and when they did, their response was useless. Completely ignored the fact that they screwed up their first delivery attempt as well. Will definitely avoid anything with Sealy in the future.

Nice place. Very good folks. Load delayed, but not their fault. Planner dropped the ball on info. Thank you Sealy for your efforts to resolve this issue. Hope to work with you all again.

Well 1.5 years later I decided to leave this review as it has taken this long for this issue to evolve, We purchased a Sterns and Foster mattress, we loved the 1st one we bought so we decided to stay with them when we bought another one, so here we are 1.5 years later and my 2800.00 dollar sterns and foster mattress is separating at the seams, so called sterns and foster and basically got the finger, told me to call Ashley furniture so I did, so they set up appt 1 month out to have a tech come look at it and after being 4 hours later for the scheduled time he informed my wife and the Ashley rep on the phone that this mattress was definitely defective and it most likely would not last another year or 2 as the seams will just keep separating. so next day got a call from Ashley furniture stating that the manufacturer will not cover and the expensive warranty I bought will not cover as well, so basically mislead by store manager and bought what I thought was a good mattress and the manufacturer nor will the store back up their product, this is the worse business practices I have had to deal with for the amount of money we spent on this mattress once I do have to replace this defective mattress it will not be at Ashley nor will it be a Sterns and Foster. after reviewing the comments and reviews for the mfg this seems to be common for this brand,,

After 30 plus emails and correspondence with various members of Sealy including Dawn T, Marty, Marcy and then finally Mariane who put the phone down on me after I threatened legal action. I have finally resorted to small claims court for a bed I purchased that still has warranty that they can't honor. Never in my life have i experienced such incompetence from a company and the employees who represent it. These are the photos we submitted to Sealy for their Stearns and Foster brand providing proof that our $3,000 dollar mattress has sunk! Today an employee by the name of Mariane put the phone down on me because I mentioned legal action. I asked her for the corporate office and she said \"Ma'am, since you want to take legal action we can't help you, Goodbye!\" Thank You Sealy for showing me exactly the service I don't want to provide for my customers.

Sealy used to be a good mattress company, but their warranty is a joke and in my opinion set up to make it impossible for a person ever to get a refund on a defective mattress. I used to buy Sealy, but no longer. Pick a different mattress company

Very poor experience not from Sealy per say, even though I haven't received a email back from them, but their delivery company they use called satellite distribution company. Not the drivers because they were great, but a woman there called Jessica was the rudest and unprofessional person I've ever encountered and I work in costumer service as well. If Sealy does not change their delivery company I'm afraid they are going to lose alot of business. Very unhappy and I probably will caution others not to use this company.

Sealy Manufacturing unit is good place to buy sealy products
