“My favorite post office. The people are very nice here, always helpful. Without saying too much, They have always, always shipped all my packages that I leave, and I trust them to do that. Thanks!”

“Despite all the negative reviews I like this location. They have the self service option to speed up the process. Then despite the line being long they were still very friendly and moved swiftly. No complaints on my end. Wish when people leave comments they put the whole story up. Yes some people have bad customer service but you aren’t the only customer and they can’t jump just for you.”

“I was a little apprehensive about a new post office, but this place exceeded expectations. Very friendly staff, fast service, and clean lobby. I'm excited to use the location again in the future as my usual post office.”

“It is open. Counter 9-5 M-F. Very helpful staff. Last visit I mistakenly filled a label for next day, $60, clerk insisted I do another for $15 2-3 days. Yes understaffed, for all the hate for Trump, he appointed Louis De Loy who thankfully kept his job, things are turning around. As in parcels delivered on Sunday. As for others who compared it a Food Lion checkout, yeah sometimes. Welcome to NC.”

“I have done business with the S. Academy Post Office for 16 years, and am very proud to call it my postal home.Yes, some of the postal clerks come across as stiff, formal & 'can't be bothered to tell you a second time', but that doesn't last long if you get to know them by first name and make them laugh. This takes time, but it will come if you do a lot more listening and observing. Each postal clerk is a person who has many of the same adult responsibilities, heartaches and hourly disasters as you have.Haven't you ever had a work day when your work seemed like a bland routine ? It happens, and the only way through it is just to shift into 'bland mode' which can be seen as aloofness and rudeness.Postal workers not only have to pass grueling Civil Service exams to get their postal jobs in the first place, but they also have executive intelligence way beyond what is required for their jobs, plus have ti maintain their calm while suffering through annoying public for hours on end. This group with executive-like minds have largely been artificially 'placed' in jobs that require the learning and recalling of a huge amt. of USPS data. Add that to sharp minds, and it is entirely possible that bordam has set in.”

“I've used this post office dozens of times with no issues. It can get fairly crowded, but I have had largely positive interactions with staff. There is one gentleman in particular who works there who is super kind and helpful (sadly, I did not catch his name). He explains everything thoroughly and doesn't seem rushed or annoyed. In addition to helping me several times, I watched him patiently help an elderly woman with her mail issue and was struck by his kindness. I imagine postal work is a pretty thankless job, so I was compelled to share my positive experiences at this post office.”

“This is by far one of my favorite USPS. First off, the parking lot is huge! There's enough space for everyone. I would suggest avoiding the lunch hours because it gets quite busy. Other than that, if you're just dropping a package off, it's quite a breeze. Happy shipping!”

“Some of the staff are surprisingly helpful. I needed a replacement for my community mailbox and they were faster than I expected in getting it replaced. Not only that, but they actually delivered the key to my house when I thought I would have to pick it up. I definitely would not mind dealing with them in the future.”

“I’m convinced all the negative reviews about passport services are people not showing up prepared or not doing research ahead of time. I completed my application prior to coming in and was seen at my exact appointment time. Was out of there in under 15min, no problems at all. Each appointment is only 15min and only for one person, so of course they can’t do your whole family in one appointment.”

“These people have to deal with a lot of rude customers and they handle it with grace every time. I witnessed Tammy in particular doing a great job being polite and patient with a very disrespectful guy.”

“This little USPS spot located inside the Eagles gas station convenience store is literally just for dropoffs (pre-package, shipping label printed already, etc.) Diana (employee working on 12.15.2022) was so sweet in explaining that they do not have a printer, and I'd have to print the label myself. She truly wanted to help me solve the problem and told me the main USPS 5 minute drive could do it....well.... I had run over there while my car was being serviced at the dealership down the street. Diana kept my package safe as I ran the mile back down Glenwood Ave, got the label printed, returned, and she helped me tape it on securely, ensuring it will make the outgoing mail pile. THANK YOU to all USPS STAFF, THIS IS A CRAZY TIME OF YEAR!! Especially Diana!! You rock girl!!! :)”
