“Best bank in NC. The Durham branch specifically is absolutely great. They support my business like they are a part of the team. Calls about random checks to make sure they are right, calls me if any of my accounts are low so I can move money, and have a ton of business services. I have recently changed my merchant services over and that has been exceptional as well.

“Excellent customer service experience thanks to MIKE! We came in 10:30am on a Saturday because we were advised by Chase to go to a Chase bank branch to follow up on a credit card application with identity verification. Mike greeted us right when we stepped in. We did not have an appointment and Mike said the 1 banker currently working was fully booked that day. Mike stated although he was not a banker, he would try to help us figure out what needed to be done. We went into his office and he followed the instructions we were given to verify my identity. The in person verification process took about 10 minutes and we were approved! We REALLY appreciate Mike going outside of his role to at least see if he could do anything to help. He could have easily said we needed to make an appointment or come back another day when a banker was available. Thank you Mike!”

My cash deposit at the Coastal ATM was declined because i put in wrong pswd, then the ATM tried to return my cash to me but jammed. I thought id lost my $140. I went into the Coastal office and was immediately helped by Mgr Ferlino Smart. She figured out what happened with the machine, and reimbursed me my $140 after end-of-day trueup. I had used a card from a “big international bank” and had called them for help, but they played me off! Then hung up on me. THANK YOU COASTAL CREDIT UNION !!!”
