Would give zero stars but that's not an option. Twice in the last year, I have had prescriptions sent to this pharmacy. The first one, they "couldn't find" (very commonly prescribed medication), never could find it (CVS got it without issue) and the staff was rude about me asking about it, and the second one they refused to fill. Even though I called TWO WEEKS ahead of time to verify that they could fill it. I was only asked if I lived in Alexander County (i do) and was told yes that they could fill it. Doctor sent it. They refused to fill it and said they "weren't taking new prescriptions for that medication." After telling me on the phone that it wouldn't be an issue. Will not attempt to use this pharmacy again and advise against it.

People Drug is a great hometown pharmacy.Fast friendly service! Call in or drop off your prescription and you can actually wait and pick up your your items quickly! You won't get that fast service at the big box pharmacy!

They have always been really nice towards me and any time I call to have them fax in a refill they do it fast and will have it ready for me when I get there so I have no complaints about them I just ask that they keep up the good work

This drug store wants to fill the brand name instead of the written generic from the doctor because they don’t make enough money on the script. Do better Peoples Drug !

ATTENTION: If your on Medicaid and asked to pay for your medication, told Medicaid won't pay for it check with your Dr. and / or Medicaid. I did. I was charged cash for a pain prescription and told Medicaid did not cover it My Drs office said Medicaid did pay for it. I had to ask for my money back. Also if your told you have no refills check with iyour Dr personally, I was lied to twice and went without my migraine meds because of it. The staff did not call my Drs. office at my request for a refill. Nor did they try to fill my prescription. I'm trying to call the pharmacy owner/ pharmacist today and let him know my grievances and the undue suffering I've endured because of the boldface lies not once but twice concerning my refills! Well my dad has been going for years but hear lately they don’t know how to answer a phone! He has been trying to call his prescription in since before Christmas and they never answer the phone and he can’t drive so now they have to see me today! I know they have a lot of staff cause every time I go up their they have 4 or more people in working! So why don’t you answer your phone?

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to! Incompetent, rude and slow employees. Gave me the wrong medication and then wanted to cop an attitude about it. Avoid this place and use a REAL pharmacy.
