Came in for a cup of coffee, walked out with a muffin and my daughter got a frappe. The drinks were really good but like everything when you're at the beach can be somewhat pricey. Check this place out if you're in the area, they have a neat little book store in here as well

My daughter (10) and I visited Quarter Moon for the first time. It has a cozy feel with a nice sitting. My daughter found a picture book with gorgeous illustrations and the latest book in one of her favorite middle grade series. I also bout a book trilogy I’d been looking forward to reading. There are also lots of unique greeting cards that we had fun looking at and will be perfect for when there’s a special occasion that calls for a card. The bookmarks are equally cute, and my daughter found a couple she couldn’t live without. Quarter Moon also hosts reading and music events, which will be nice to attend. Very few venues host author readings in this area, so I’m quite thankful to Quarter Moon.

Great local place for wine. They have a great selection and they're right in the middle of downtown TopsaiL.. the owner is super nice. They have outdoor seating, and a great solo artist that plays music on the busy nights on the weekend. Definitely worth going to.

Great local shop with cafe menu, smoothies, wine, and beer. Plus has a decent book section and a used book section.

Shocked to see this has good reviews. Whoever was closing it down after the Autumn festival was so rude it was mind boggling. Both our lattes tasted like milk with flavored syrup. Will be making sure I steer tourists at my job far away from this place when they ask for coffee places.

Cute spot but no public restroom for paying customers. My husband and I stopped by for an early afternoon beer and glass of wine. They ask customers to use the public park restrooms a block away. They sell coffee, beer and wine. It’s bad business in my opinion! On top of that we felt a very unwelcome atmosphere, no one asked if they could help. It was almost if they were annoyed we wanted drinks. I’ll stick with beach shop across the street where we’ve always had a 5 star experience even with our kids in tow.

Have gone in the morning and in the evenings. Let’s visit in the morning and the coffee was excellent and staff friendly. Outside deck area did not have any areas under cover and few seats inside. Only food available was blueberry muffins in the morning, no food in the evenings when serving wine. Live one performer music entertainment most evenings is nice.

Very nice little coffee shop. The atmosphere in general was very calming! The coffee was good along with their smoothies.

Really cute coffee shop with cards, books, and bar area. We got smoothies and coffees. Cute menu and easy to order. Staff was really friendly and we got to walk around while we waiting for our drinks. We've been here multiple times and have a great and easy time, every time.

Staff is amazing and the vibe is amazing but the coffee is very disappointing. They dont tamp grounds in espresso shots. I asked staff what they did for espresso pulls and they said they did the espresso with pods. 3 shots of espresso in any coffee drink should taste really strong. Instead it tasted like watery chocolate milk and cost me more than 7 dollars. I would have gone to food lion if I had wanted Nesquik.

Was really disappointed on my last stop. Have been going there for years, but probably won't return. The young girl working was very friendly and outgoing; however, the older woman's level of unfriendliness made us feel very unwelcome. Even asked for a coffee suggestion, and literally didn't get a response from her. Many other places to choose from.

Okay place. Nothing special. Tight quarters and very hot sitting outside. Owner is not very friendly and book selection is weak.

terrible selection of books. why this is called a book store I will never know. The two owners are rather snotty, rude and nasty. Not worth the long drive down there. Been coming to Topsail for years and will never go back to this place. Buy your books on Amazon and bring them with you to the beach, don't go here looking for anything popular or current.
