Having family members who work for the USPS, I didn’t want to have to leave this review. Thomasville USPS/Post Office has failed me time and time again. Between my mail not showing up for days on end (all while being shown in my informed delivery) to their clerk gaslighting me in front of a line of people when I had proof. My mail person refuses to collect outgoing mail from my box, so I have to drop anything I want sent in a collection box or use my work mailbox. I have a USPS approved mailbox that is mounted to my building, so why won’t they take my mail? I could write paragraphs. I run a small business that requires frequent incoming and outgoing mail. I am so tired of constantly having to worry about my items going out or arriving as they should. I know things happen. I know mistakes happen. This office, however, is consistently missing the mark.

On the USPS website it says the Thomasville post is open for walk in passport applications. A few of us for in there for passports and the staff says they don't do that any more.

I don't appreciate the fact the postal service has a mail man always opening our mail the first time I was thinking could have been a accident but this is the 2nd time this happened and doesn't even look like a accident I can tell someone tried to open it

Do not go here to get a passport. Do not even make an appointment to go here to get a passport. They are extremely understaffed and you’ll end up, standing around for almost an hour, and leaving without getting anything accomplished, even though you had an appointment, Because appointments don’t matter if a walk up shows up right before you they’re gonna get help and you’re gonna be left standing.

This is the most helpful post office I have ever encountered. From the postmaster to all the other employees they are very helpful and this place does get busy. I have a relative that always wants the new, unique stamps. They always are helpful in finding those for me for her to use.

Absolutely refuse to drop my overnight packages off. I have waived signatures, paid extra for first class. I have to wait till they “try” to deliver it 3x before I can catch it at the post office.
