Patty (unsure of spelling) is rude and racist. My husband and son went 8/31 and she cut my husbands hair. She was really rough and it was painful for him. She made him feel uncomfortable the whole time and acted like she felt gross touching his hair. She asked him how many kids he has and when he said 3 she said she would’ve guessed he had 6 (Hispanic stereotyping). She also assumed he would be paying cash and was annoyed he wanted to pay with card. She input the tip for him assuming he wasn’t going to tip. Funny thing is we usually tip well over 20%. Haircut doesn’t even look that great. We’ve been using great clips for over a year but this totally turned us off from using them again. That woman should be ashamed of herself.

Will definitely never be going back to this location, the Lexington one is a lot faster and friendlier. Waited for over 20 minutes only to be told that since there were only 2 of them that they would not be doing any shampoos, and this is after I told them when checking in that my daughter was going to get a shampoo and haircut. That should have been stated up front. Normally I would just roll with it, but it was just the rude the way they handled it. I asked if they did the cut without her hair being washed would it come out ok because I knew her hair needed the wash, she had just thrown dry shampoo in it when we ran out of the house earlier that morning and the stylist just shrugged her shoulders. I get being short staffed but even when I’m short staffed at my job I’m still expected to fully do my job regardless of whether I am worried that I am going to get behind or not, especially when closing is still about 5 hours away.

On my first visit the stylists were rude and did not cut my hair according to what I wanted. My second visit a stylist checked me in and walked out, and the other stylists there at the time ignored me until I left after waiting for 30 minutes. Normally I would be fine with waiting that long, except when I checked in on the app it had told me I would have a 0 minute wait.

Very rude girl was working the cash register yesterday.will not go back to this Great Clips again.they lost about sixty dollars worth of hair cuts.your lost not mine.the one on national highway is a lot better.Oh yea I don’t think you suppose to drink while you’re on the job but some of those girls in there do
Stylist: I forget her name (sorry) but anyway she was a nice blondish woman very nice and respectful she cut my hair the way I wanted and she even helped me with getting her chair cause I was having trouble with my balance,so thank you so much

My daughter checked in online and we arrive right at the allotted time slot. There were two hairdressers and one was on lunch.
The one on lunch break (Nashadnae) returned and promptly called her next customer, which was my granddaughter. My grandchild asked for her family to go back with her so I went to make sure she was comfortable. After a couple minutes, I told my grandchild that I was going to sit in the lobby because she's a big girl and the hairdresser probably doesn't want someone standing there watching the whole time. The hairdresser said politely "whatever makes you both comfortable is fine." I appreciated that from her. I did go sit down though. She then called me back to make sure the haircut was satisfactory. My daughter came and asked for a a particular part to be cut some more. She obliged without an attitude.
The coupon I tried to use wasn’t able to be accepted at this location. That was a bummer, but Nashadnae was kind and apologized for that inconvenience.
This hairdresser was much better than the one my other family member encountered recently. She was one of the two there and I was ready to ask for someone else if she called for my granddaughter. Don't be afraid to assert politely yourself in businesses. You're paying for a service and it should be done with some sense of satisfaction. Not something you have to suffer through.

We have been here a few times and had good experiences. The manager is great. Today our stylist was an older lady and the experience was not good. Our 4 year old is a typical 4 yr old boy. He listens well but he can’t sit perfectly still for 15 minutes and he asks a lot of questions about what tools are being used and what they are for, all of which seemed to be issues every time he would talk or look at what she was grabbing. Maybe kids just aren’t her favorite, I get it, that’s fine. We get the sides and back buzzed short then the top a little longer so he can spike it up. But she brushed his hair over to the side and then when we got home and I had him in the bath and his hair was straight down like usual, I realized his hair was completely uneven and had gaps all in the front. I tried straightening it out myself but the way the sides were cut so poorly I ended up having to go over the whole thing again with clippers to just make it all one length.

I accompanied a family member for a haircut. They unfortunately got Sylvia as their stylist. Sylvia was not personable at ALL, despite my family member trying to make things a bit more comfortable. She cut the hair much shorter than was requested and never smiled once the whole time. I understand we all have bad days but when you work with the public you should at least be somewhat pleasant.

I can't speak for a haircut as I ended up leaving, it looks like a morgue in there, even with the lights on don't see how they can see to even cut hair. The atmosphere looks like something out of a horror movie. The person at the counter told me there was a 90 minute wait and there was not a single person in there... he told me he was " sure that whoever was next on the waitlist wasn't going to show up and if I just waited about five minutes, I would be next" (SUS) but I have heard from other great clips in the area that apparently the workers put fake names on the wait list to keep too many people coming in, especially on the weekends.. they're essentially fake names on the online wait list, the people cutting hair probably went to school for it in the 1920s as all of them in there that day were probably old enough to be great grandparents. I wasn't even going to take the chance so I left

I give up. I gave them another try after the last time they buzzed my head like a convict. Customer service sent me a card for a free haircut. I used it today after letting my hair grow back. The haircut is so so but my right side is definitely longer than my left. I may try and go back tomorrow to see if it can be evened out. I wil not be going back after that. I do not understand why they can never get it right.
