“Good selection of produce at a reasonable price. Items I purchase on a regular basis are always in stock. I love the self check lines. I can normally get in and out quickly when purchasing a handful of items.”
“Sometimes their out of season produce is not good; spongy textured watermelon, etc. But they will always give you a refund without question. Now about their eggs. I always buy the cheaper ones; these are recycled from other merchants before the dates run out. Sometimes the eggs, usually 1 or two per carton, are probably well beyond their expiration dates. You can tell when an egg is too old, as they are runnier than the fresher ones and they slide easily from the shell when they are cracked. I always throw these stale eggs away since I feel that they are unsafe. I suspect that the supplier knows that these are stale and they hope that customers won't notice.”
