Refused to deliver my package twice even though address is correct. Second refusal claimed that I refused to recieve the package (why would I do that) which is untrue. I live in an apartment complex so all packages go to clubhouse so that was a lie! After reading the reviews on here it seems like this location has a reoccurring issue with not delivering packages (almost like that’s your job!) Can’t even go down there to pick it up in person since the office is only open for 3 hours. Online customer service is also a joke.

The hours are 9-12. They just decided to open at 10 instead. They do not care if they hold you up.
Additionally, my computer was shipped to my PO Box in Waynesville … but mysteriously was held at this store in Sylva “waiting for Customer to pick up.” Explain that please. So I drive 30 minutes over, here exactly at 9am to find out they are mysteriously opening at 10 instead. If I drive 30 minutes back … well I am stuck here for an hour.
This store gives UPS A BAD REPUTATION. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT CARE.

This place is a joke only open 9am till noon. Terrible customer service and not helpful at all. Everything seemed to be a bother to them.

Phone AI system was unable to help. I wanted to change my delivery to customer pickup but it wouldn't allow saying my residential address was a commercial address. Oh well, one more stop for big brown

My packages keep getting left in open locations that are a distance from my house. Alternate drop location has been provided. When I try to file a complaint, they won't do anything without a phone number which they can't give me a reason why they need.

What UPS closes at 12 other than Sylva, nc ???? swore it was 1 before, and they also sent my package back to my house instead of Amazon after I explained it needed to go back lol

Cindy is the MVP at this location. She works hard, is extremely efficient and always kind to everyone that walks through the door. UPS is lucky to have her!

The drivers here are ridiculous. They don’t want to finish their routes so they proclaim an address to be “not found” or person “refused” package. Hire people who actually want to work. I’ve waited weeks for my package for someone to say it was refused. Customer service is a joke as well. No resolution. If I could choose the carrier my stuff is shipped with I would never choose UPS.

I would be giving UPS delivery for Amazon one star for a missing/stolen package if not for another UPS Deliverer recently having done an exceptional job and was deserving of five stars. It only takes one bad apple to mess up the others. UPS Sylva needs to get rid of those few bad apples.

Several months ago, my SurePost package arrived packed in a half-sealed box, missing pertinent label information, and all my items had been replaced with two bottles of daily shower cleaner. Either my items were stolen, or my order was switched with someone else's for unknown reasons. UPS's online claim form stated that they were off the hook because it had been turned over to USPS. (I had difficulty processing a claim with the latter, too.} The drivers are great and a majority of the time I have no trouble with my deliveries. But, Jon, I really was looking forward to receiving my Halloween crystal ball that is now a fixture in someone else's house along with my daughter's new underwear.

I want to talk to a HUMAN BEING when I call!!! Can not get a Human on the phone for anything.
