I’ve been Elle’s client since probably 2011. I’ve seen her artistry and skill flourish to where she’s at now. I always look forward to those hours I’m going to spend in her chair, where I can relax and catch up with each other. I always feel so well taken care of with a beautiful hair as a result.

Being new to town took me a bit of trial and error to find the perfect fit for a Hairstylist. As soon as I arrived and heard Elle as she cut one of her clients hair I knew we would get along...and once my hair had been reshaped from its Mary Lou Retton into something fabulous in the making ...I knew my searching was over. Candice Caldwell Day was so personable from the beginning. She truly cares about her clients and her art. I was looking for an artist to do a traditional style butterfly tattoo for my husband in memory of his grandfather Charles who also had a blue butterfly on his forearm. What blew us away was that we knew Candice's style was not traditional yet she executed a new clean traditional tattoo that blew my husband's expectation along with my own expectation clear out of the water.Not only that, but when I had questions she was able to talk me through them for better understanding.She is an artist who values people. This review is a long time coming as I started seeing Elle many months ago. Each experience has been relaxing, collaborative, and educational. Her space is beautiful yet so comfortable. I have many questions about my hair care and thoughts on how to create certain looks and Elle walks me through all of the details. I appreciate the time she takes with me and her communication. Edit: the response was quick and I got an apology from the owner. While I didn’t get my hair cut by Elle that day, she does have an incredible talent for cutting hair. If one does book an appointment and has their hair cut, you won’t be disappointed.Was stood up, called Elle’s number and messaged her while standing outside of a locked shop. Elle is AMAZING. She listened to what I wanted, validated my concerns, worked with me to ensure I was blown away. My hair felt amazing after my appointment - my natural waves were popping almost as much as the color (I can air dry with zero brushing or styling and get so many compliments). I have been a client of Elle’s for years. She is awesome. I have recently transitioned from short colored hair to longer naturally gray hair. I have curly wavy hair and she has helped me keep it healthy and manageable thru the process. I would highly recommend her.
