Very glad this store exists in Sylva. Pricey (name brands), but convenient, with high-quality stock. I shop such prices with the expectation that clothes and gear will last a decade, or more.

Best local outdoor store between Franklin, Sylva, and Waynesville. Mast may be a little but larger with slightly more selection, but their staff is not nearly as knowledgeable (Matt is great), and Balsam has the best footwear lineup, hands down. 76 almost competes with footwear, but they have some wonky theories/sales tactics regarding footwear.
