I bought an older used car a couple weeks ago. There were some minor issues as you would get with buying an older car, but the owner Mitch went above and beyond to correct those things. Very Much appreciated!

I don’t typically leave reviews, but I thought this one was a must. I purchased a vehicle approximately 3 yrs ago from here. I loved that car and had no issues with it. It was totaled a few weeks ago so I went car shopping. I purchased a second vehicle from here. Mr. John is patient, professional and honest. I recommend this business and I will be returning in the future.

Worst place to go for a car! They have no clue what they are doing and their prices are very high. They won’t work with you for cash offers either! Most vehicles need a lot of work and his warranties don’t cover much. Stay clear!

I would of gave a zero heart if I could. So one it is. My father purchased a vehicle a couple of months ago. Not even the first week we got broke down heading to Duke Hospital. Ever since then my father has put in money after money in the 2018 Chevy traverse. My father traded in 2 vehicles that had absolutely nothing wrong with them. This man's vehicles all have something wrong with them. I would definitely not recommend buying anything from him. I do wish before my father purchased this vehicle I would have read the reviews thus far. So I would highly suggest reading the reviews first before buying a vehicle from him. All you have to do is read the reviews because out of 24 reviews he only had 3 good reviews. I don't know how he's still in business.

Response to Ramon. customer is correct that check engine light came on . This happened after we had car inspected and would not have passed obd inspection if we had cleared code. Once we were aware of the catalytic converter code we made a appt. and had a new one installed. The battery became dead and a new one was installed and we were not sure if this was the cause of check engine light due to low voltage.

Stay clear from this dishonest people. Right now they have a Ford Focus Titanium for sale with a known catalytic converter issue. Car popped a check engine light on us as soon as we took it for a test drive. They keep resetting the light hoping that someone buys it unaware of the issue.

Cars look good from the outside, but they are over priced, high mileage, very worn cars in a roped off dirt parking lot. I hate having to get out of my cool vehicle to walk in the heat only to find it not worth my while. ?

Don't go here if you want to test drive any cars. He won't let you unless he likes your offer. He's a j*** and shouldn't be in business. Car options suck and the prices are way to high for what he has to offer. He's friends with the guy from Davis Auto Sales so be careful. They will give each other a heads up if you try and talk them down in price.

Bought a Honda CR-V there at a nice price. My daughter drove it for 2 years and sold it for almost as much as she paid. Honest dealer.

We bought a 2011 Chevy Equinox from Coastal. The next day , the check engine light comes on. We took it to dealer and find out it needs a catalytic convertor, cam cylinder actuator, and exhaust manifold is cracked. I called the owner and all he wanted to do was argue as to what was wrong with it. Since it was marked AS IS and he wanted a ridiculous price of $1500 for 1 yr warranty. I would NOT recommend this dealer to anyone. TERRIBLE !!!

Bought a jeep commander, have had it for a month and absolutely no issues. Couldn't be happier.

I'm Posting this as a review and FYI and truth to anyone in the market for a car so this doesn't happen to you. Never had this issue before but figured y'all should know and be smarter as where you buy from. I Bought a 2013 from COASTAL AUTO MARKET in swansboro, just a few weeks ago. After looking it over as best as humanly possibly without putting it on a lift, we purchased it. A couple days later and about 20 or so miles the check engine light comes on. Okay, figured they cleared the codes. It is what it is. After 1 has tank, it wouldn't accelerate, started stalling out. Figured I would clean out the fuel system. Nope problem still there, and then today the car completely died. When I say it died I mean the engine literally does not work at all anymore. Contacted COASTAL AUTO MARKET, told them you sold me a vehicle under false pretenses and so far they basically said pound sand. “We have our money and you have the car. We aren't gonna do anything.†these guys sell me a broken car, what ended up to be completely broken and based on principle, so far aren't doing anything about it. Already contacted the finance company and they are working their own angle. Yes I know it can be fixed but after a buying a vehicle and being told after looking at it, “here's the inspection, the shop looked at it and nothing is wrong with it at allâ€...they still sell a broken hunk of metal for a car and just because they have their money, tell you deal with it. I definitely plan on reporting them for fraud if nothing is done but when buying a car these problems shouldn't happen. Recommend y'all stay away from them and choose a different dealership so you don't have to deal with it. None of this should be happening within a couple weeks of buying a car. Also they were the rudest company I have ever dealt with before.

I went there bc I was looking at a 2009 Nissan Rogue that was priced online at $6,495. When I got to the car lot on the windshield it said $5,995. I went in and spoke with a car salesman forgot his name. I asked the price of the car he said it was priced at $7,000! I asked could I test drive he said he was the only one there and he would have to go with me. That was fine. That was a no since he was the only one there. I left went back to look at the exterior of the car it had dents and the paint was chipping on the back of the car. Be careful u have to go to the car lot to see the real price of the car bc online isn't accurate. I was car shopping that day and they were dishonest to me when I went into that trailer to ask what the price of the vehicle was. Very dishonest. I will never go to your car lot again!!
