Just tried to purchase a Viva zen with my state issued Passport card and 3 associates pretty much accused me of having a fake ID. Will not be purchasing anything from the store ever again very upset customer. Said it wasn't in their training videos that's not my problem they need to be educated!!

First of all it’s not called Piccadilly Circus Pizza. It’s frozen pizza they open and put in an oven. Then I waiting over 20 minutes and still no pizza. I asked for my money back and he refused. Put a bad taste in my mouth for such a lovely island.

This is what a beach convenience store should be. They sell soda, beer, wine, chips and fishing bait among other things. The cashiers are always helpful and friendly. There is plenty of parking and it is free. In todays world all these people want the best and most convenient things. Faux luxuries and so forth. A need is met here and the decor is exactly what beach convenience stores have been for my lifetime.

Food is wonderful but very hard to enjoy when the temp is close to freezing. Supposedly it was to keep cooks cool.FYI: All staff were wearing sweatshirts.

I have been a resident on Topsail island for 25 years.I recently went to the store on Saturday night to purchase something ,as we walked up to the door an assistant motioned they were closed. We parked in their parking lot and I saw the sign cars would be towed if you were not a customer.We had all intentions of purchasing items.Since they were close We decided to go to the bar adjacent to the store. Around 12:30 we were on our way out and saw a tow truck.I told my husband they are towing our truck.I had to pay Hooked-Up towing $100 to get my truck unhooked.There were at least 10 cars/trucks on this lot.For some reason he picked my truck out of a large number of vehicles parked on that same lot sitting in the middle of a line of vehicles. We did not take parking from friendly mart. They were closed. This tow company says they have a contract with friendly mart.This is a total scam. If you want to keep customers you should be loyal to them. Your signs should state no parking from whatever your opening hours are until closing.This guy with"Hooked-Up" took money from several people Knowing they were vacationers who went out for a evening and Knew they needed their vehicle. 3 police arrived and sat out there and did nothing. One police guy did talk with the tow guy but was unsuccessful.They agreed this is very wrong and advised us to write a complaint and reach out to Friendly Mart. I would hope friendly mart would refund this money to all of the people that were put in a situation that could of been handled differently. Friendly Mart has got to be getting a cut in this money nightly.SHAME ON YOU !!!
