When we are at the beach we typically stop at this store. So, this policy is new. As usual, the store was fairly clean and the staff was nice. The problem is that something seems crooked the way they are now running the business.The store does not show any prices on the items on the shelves. Only drinks in the cooler have a posted price. When we asked the staff we were told that management no longer wanted to price the items. When we asked why, we were told they did not know why. When we asked the price of some peanuts the staff per pulled out handwritten notes on notebook paper. Unfortunately it wasn't an item that she had recorded, so she had to scan it. Next, the credit card scanner doesn't display your total amount that you are paying for and a receipt is only available after the items are paid in full. It seemed very shady.

Some of these employees, Dave especially, should be ashamed of how they treat people. All this dude does is perv on women and meddle in other people’s business like an old spinster. Whoever the manager is should get a backbone and fire this sorry excuse for a man.

Gas pump didn’t stop pumping gas and cashier got mad when other customers were made aware of the issue. Keep eye on the gas when pumping in case it doesn’t stop when it should, otherwise you still have to pay for what you didn’t intend on getting.

I thought this was a beautiful, clean convenience store. The staff were smiling and friendly and the bathroom was clean. There was ample parking and they had a great selection of things. They have a hot food bar, too.

This place never has set hours. With it being the only station within the distance of Holden Beach you'd think they would stay open later than 5 minutes to 10:00. Some nights their open till 11:00, some nights their open all night, and then randomly their open till 9:55. I guess they close the doors when their tired of helping people.

My wife is on video pumping gas, of all places at a GAS STATION!!! Talking to a friend. The only one she had while hobbling around on a broken kneecap and I just don't want her to have friends or be happy. I even threatened to call the cops on her because I am going to lie on her again and claim she stole a cellphone and used it in Wilmington! But rock solid as she is, God and everyone else in the non-narcissitic real world knows she hasn't been there in a month. She went there to escape when she learned that I had Joe's felon girlfriend in OUR bed. Single life is great for single people but it doesn't mix very well when you are MARRIED. My dad, Pastor Arthur Rose has told me this before. And he knew my wife was suicidal then. I have had plenty to say about her and to her.
