They get 5 stars and 2 thumbs up from me. I left my wallet at this store on 6/22/24 and the cashier found it and put it in the safe. Thank you so much. There's still good honest people in this world.

Why are they closed before the times say 10 pm, it's closed at 6 or temporarily closed with no open time... disappointed a second time, other than that I like the place, good products just can't get in

Staff is horrible!!!! Staff seems to be on drugs or so involved in their personal lives they don’t pay attention to you as a customer and get annoyed when u ask for help as it pulls their nose away from their phones. Today even tho she was at the counter she told me to do self checkout, her personal phone rings and she gets mad cause she was expecting an “Important call” but when I rang something up on accident she acted annoyed and wasn’t paying any attention to me when I asked for help to take off item. I had to ask twice and then she had no idea what I was asking about. Completely ridiculous! DO BETTER!!!! Drug test your staff also store is always a mess.

This store is the WORST dollar general ever!!!! DG has always been part of my house occasions, weather party or other wise. This dollar general at Holden Beach is always unstocked, aisle that are crowded with stuff. Unorganized store that I have ever been in and manager is rude as well. I spent over $100 and gave them 2, $100 bill's and one was a new hundred bill and one old hundred, the manager would not take the new one said it was a fake, refused my business and all. It was Saturday, banks closed and that's not even the point. She did not even hold it up or try the counterfeit pen on it and it was laying right there! I used it and on it and there was another employee there and he looked at it both could tell it was real. Manager said, "I still will not take it." Now, that's not fair, 2 things saying it not fake and I know it's not. And still will not take it. I will never shop at the dollar general ever again and think if I have to before I shop at it other one.

The staff is always irritated that they have customers. I have been to this store a few times and the manager is always nasty to the customers.

Very, very kind staff. The clerk who checked out my items also went above and beyond, and even loaded everything himself. It was Tim's first day and I assured him that he was very patient and a good fit for the job. He and his wife are new to the area, and I welcomed them both. Good people are a blessing! Myself and my husband are also new to the area.
