WATER IN ETHANOL-FREE GAS Got gas for the boat and stopped working on the lake ethanol-free. Put 71.00 of gas in the first time then 41 after getting towed off the lake. Had to get towed in from the water. Just heard back from the boat shop and water is in the gas, that's why it stopped working. Now having to pump all the gas out and start over. Paying mechanic and around $115 in gas wasted. No customer service number to call no store number

This is a good gas station. It is mostly clean and won't break your bank like them big box gas stations where buying a bottled soda costs you nearly $3. This place is well run and has friendly staff. It is quite cluttered though so you may or may not able to find what you need.
Otherwise, great little place.

Bad Gas ? alert.
Got gas the other week and exhaust started to have excess soot, condensation and smoke coming out in big clouds.
I had only topped off about 1/4 tank and never had this, researched online from the symptoms and looks like they had a bad batch of gas with most likely water in it.
Added a bottle of iso HEET from Advance Auto Parts down the road and that fixed the issue, I drove a half of tank off over the next few days and me being foolish decided to fill up at the same pump previously.
Once again, excessive smoke coming from the exhaust shortly after fill up, added another bottle of iso HEET (which stabilizes the water in the gas) and it went away again fortunately because repairs could have been costly.
Unfortunately I can’t risk this happening again so I’ll have to fill up somewhere else.
I usually tend to fill up in Oak Ridge as the gas there is up to 30 cents cheaper per gallon.
I’m not sure why they feel the need to charge a small city like Stokesdale a premium on gas prices which are already high.

Pump said to pay cashier. Sign on door said cash only. Assuming it was a credit card issue I used the ATM to get out cash and paid 4 dollars in ATM fees. Cashier said they couldn't sell any gas or make any transactions, not even cash.

They close early never have the same hours they change all the time. They don’t have a phone number to call and ask if they are still open.

I love this gas station not because it's near my house but because the staff treat you like family. They will help you if you feel unsafe, they're some of the nicest people I know.
