The executive office once more said the branch workers are wrong and are reaching out once again to the manager. Let's hope they make the right decision and replace the uneducated, un-trained Cynthia with no people skills with an educated professional.
ETA: was told that employees were in the wrong and have to accept cash deposits at the drive thru, they would send out a statement to all banks that they cannot refuse to process cash deposits at the window, and employees involved would be reprimanded.
Instead, the employees (manager cynthia, Heidi lackey , and boy teller who refused to give his name) laughed and ridiculed me saying they were told the opposite that they can pick and choose what transactions they feel like doing AND that they got rewarded for treating customers poorly. And wf wonders why they can't keep customers.
Wells fargo employee Heidi lackey is denying to process my cash deposits at the drive through. We went through this before with the other statesville branch and have in writing that the banks must accept cash deposits at the drive through and wf will have a talk with the employees who deny customer service. Heidi went as far as having a second employee pretend to be the bank manager to tell me they don't process cash deposits at the drive through. I have contacted Wells Fargo and they have initiated the paperwork to the actual bank manager and her boss.

They keep their bathrooms for customers Locked!?! Why? I find this very rude and inconsiderate to customers! Especially to anyone who may have a medical condition! Most places are just barely ADA compliant and you want to make it even more difficult!

I really did not like the customer service here at this branch. Despite knowing we were in a time constraint as we explained our situation the 25 minute delay in waiting time had us incur another night at a hotel stay bc we had to wait for a notary public to become available. Knowing the circimstances an accommodation could have been made.

So let's make this very clear. If you work till 5pm every day you can not go by the bank and do anything on Friday when you get paid and bills are due. Why is there a physical bank then? It should all just be online what's the brick and mortar for? Apparently looks. To let you know they pay to be there but can't be there for their customers needs. That's some unique kind of business model. "We're here just not when you need us" LOLL that's like cops. Never around when you need 1

Very slow in accepting a deposit. I think they could do a lot better for current customers. ?

They are always nice to me, even without knowing I have an account. Then came the day I needed to pay someone in Virginia serious money quickly. I can't recall her name, but a manager explained all the rules to me. And offered to above and beyond to help me. Her first suggestion turned out to work and everything was resolved with minimal effort, but it was nice knowing there were backup plans.I love it when they apologize for asking security questions before letting me have my money. But folks, think about it: if they do not know who you are, do you want them letting any stranger or crook taking your money out? I suspect most of the detractors have problems with every bank. They might hate me for this, but yeah, the rates they pay are low and they do have fees (never doing foreign currency or checks here); I keep money at other banks for better interests rates. But, when I need a bank that is in 37 states and has professional and pleasant people Wells is there. It is reason enough for me to keep a few hundred in the account.Their online banking is also top tier. Sure they are a little cautious. I am sure they make plenty of money on all the money that goes through the bank for my bills, but so be it. It makes life easy.Last, but not least is their Cash Wise card. I don't know what credit score you need for it, but I love the cash back. Straight percentage from day one (I don't think DC does it from day one) and no revolving categories (One of the C banks).

Oh how we need banks to return to customer service. For day to day banking needs, this bank is accessible and adequate. But when you need a real banker you are screwed. Everyone tells you there are fed laws they have to follow but everyone also interprets these laws differently. Get one answer, come back with what you were told is needed, get a completely different answer. Both Statesville locations appear to be run by amateurs and you will spend at least an hour doing simple processes. It seems they need to pull in another associate every time making it clear they don't know what they are doing. It's a mess. Time to find a new bank

I would not recommend banking here. I have banked here for almost 3 years and it seems everytime I go there, for simple tasks, they for some reason can not do what I ask. I waited for nearly 15 minutes in the drive through for them to cash a check, and after being told they'd cash the check no problem and waiting 15 minutes they then told me they could not cash my check but they would deposit it for me, but only part of the check would be available for me to use and id have to wait for the remainder of the check until the following day. Seems like a bank should be able to do something as simple as cash a check when you have an account with them but nope not at this bank.
