Great place to work. I'm fortunate to have an amazing supervisor and our new plant manager and HR is working to improve wages and environment. It still gets very hot during the summer, but it's manageable.

Would not recommend working at this place. They will promise you a raise as long as you complete certain things and then when you complete them they want you to learn a new piece of equipment that they have no one to train you on. Also the engineering supervisor is the most untrustworthy and backstabbing person I have ever worked for.

Wish I could post no stars but it’s making me select at least one. One of the worst companies to work for. No one in management is trained to do their job well. The pay is decent if they pay you. My husband received a raise in February and they didn’t complete the paperwork to give it to him until the end of July. They owed him back pay and now, 6 months later has never seen a cent. They treat the employees like slaves. Terrible work environment and they work you death. Work life balance there is a joke. My husband works between 17-30 overtime hours a pay period. HR lady is dumb as rocks and lazy so they are not FOR the employees as they should be. Her assistant is great but he doesn’t seem to have the authority to make change happen. And don’t even try calling their corporate office, they won’t answer. I agree with the previous review. Very backhanded and sketchy place to work. Find somewhere else!

My experience (Lengthy, but worth the read):They are THE WORST to work for. They fired me after having an argument with an employee (one of their favorites I'm assuming) and decided to lie about the reason for terminating my contract. I confronted the coworker, who had been speaking negatively about me to other supervisors. She quickly became defensive and we got into an argument. She went and talked to the supervisors, but no one came to ask me my side of the story, which I found a bit strange. A few minutes later, I was in an office being told I was fired for going out to my car and calling out for two days. When explaining that I let my co workers or shift lead know that I had to step out to my car, and that I also provided a doctor's note for those two days, they cut me off mid explanation and basically told me that they didn't care and my assignment was ended. When I asked was this really just about the issue with the co worker a few minutes earlier, they pretended not to know what happened, then admitted that they already talked to her after hearing my side. It was obvious they just chose her side and didn't want to admit it. I asked why didn't they say something about me going out to my car or explaining that my doctor's note didn't count before I clocked in that day, and again, they were ready to end the conversation. Very one sided, back handed people to work for. With a team like that, it's obvious why they're so behind in work orders. Their machines break down every 20 minutes (out of a 10 hour shift) and they want you to sweep and wipe down work tables for the next 30-50 minutes, but you can only sweep your station and wipe down those two tables so many times before you realize there's no damn dirt. Because they are so far behind in work orders, ironically due to their high turn over rate, they have no one to train you, so if you don't catch on almost immediately or have little experience, they become very impatient and will easily fault you for most things, including their inability to get ahead in work orders (the gag is they're already three or four months behind though.) The only thing that was remotely attractive about this position was the pay ($13/hr plus over time), but with all the hell they bring it would be better to work at a bank (they could start you at $15 AND train you.) If you'd rather stay in the warehouse field, there are so many general labor jobs out in Statesville (and they usually pay the same if not more.) If you can avoid this one, do so.

6 hours of waiting for a ready loading!! No desire to work. And then they'll cry when they're unemployed.

Starts off a good place to work. Then it gets nasty. The production manager doesn't know how to do his job. They have their favorites. Will fire someone for whatever. Hot as HELL. They want your blood, sweat and tears and could care less if they're burning you out or not. Their motto is work'em till they can't. I wouldn't recommend to anyone to work at this hell hole, unless you have NO life,NO kids, and you're willing to live there

Terrible place to work... I can't decide if it reminds me more of the army or preschool. It's well in excess of 100 degrees in there and a full 3hrs before our 1st break, and yet we're not allowed to get a drink from the machine during that time. This is also my 2nd time being employed here, I was fired the 1st time for leaving an hr early to my Dr apt which I requested off 2wks in advance(which is the policy) only to find out a month later my request wasn't approved... I'm not sure how a Dr apt doesn't get approved... but that's TSCO
