I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mike's Growers. We have been working with them for years. Tara, Buzz and the team are awesome to work with. They have turned our yard into quite the oasis!! All the plants are thriving and look beautiful! You will not be disappointed and highly recommend them!

My original review was about how helpful everyone is, then I read what looks like a wife & husband review. I called in and spoke to Tara since the review sounded slanderous. The paperwork and email documentation showed that the trees were planted in the first week April of 2023 and one died. That tree was replaced in the first week of May of 2023 at no charge. The man reached out via email to Tara in late May of 2024 and there was no phone conversation with the female in 2024. Mike even offered to replace a replacement that they could plant, even though he was under no obligation to do so! Such a shame that people fabricate words to try and hurt a small local veteran owned business that has been there for 20 years. Thank you Mike for your service! I liked Tara's response about the reviews, just have to shake it off even though on our end nothing was done incorrectly and remember that Kindness doesn't cost a thing. The truth always comes out when someone is looking for it.

This company doesn’t care about customer service or standing behind their products. They planted poor quality trees that had issues right away and wouldn’t replace since they only have a 3 month warranty. Save your money and go to a reputable nursery.

We had the worst experience with this company. Save your money and go somewhere else! They planted 2 cherry trees. One died immediately and dealt with Tara about replacing it. She was extremely rude and had to call 10 times and practically beg her to get it replaced. They left a tight plastic tag on the new one that caused holes in the trunk. The following season both trees died after flowering and a professional nursery diagnosed it as a fungal disease. Called the owner because we didn’t want to deal with Tara again. He denied it was anything they did wrong and offered to replace one tree. He was so rude and disrespectful he had me in tears after I hung up! I would highly recommend going to a credible nursery that knows how to treat their customers and stands behind their products. I’m getting Pike’s Nursery in Cornelius to replace these tress.

There's a huge selection of annuals, perrenials, vegetable plants, trees, and bushes. Everything is well cared for and the variety is impressive. The customer service is super, and the prices are very reasonable.

Mike's is one of my favorite places to get plants. Prices are mostly on par, usually less than other places. They're especially good for fruit trees. Good selection of ornamentals as well as peppers and tomatoes.

We don’t live near by but stopped in while in the area. I was looking for specific plants, the lady was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a great variety of outdoor plants. I will definitely return when we are back in the area.
