Had to stop for gas on a long road trip. This gas station is kept clean, the bathroom was spotless, and the cashier was friendly. I'm greatfull for places like this when I travel!

I do stop by here every now and again. Fuel costs more than Costco or QT. But, sometimes math makes sense to fuel here. Store is clean. Coffee is ok, employees are usually nice.Anyhow, this time around,Spent about 40$ on fuel and decided to get /make a hotdog and a cup of coffee. One of their , elderly, employees, could be a manager who was off her rocker, at that time, and is lacking basic critical thinking/evaluation skills, raised a racket since I decided to eat a hotdog before paying for it. She completely ignored when I told her not to worry about it and that I’ll pay for it and other things before leaving. Perhaps she was raised in a family and has friends for thieves, who am I to judge, right? Guess who isn’t going there anymore, not for fuel nor even a cup of coffee, nothing. ?

I've been shopping here since they opened. The store is always clean and the service is usually good. The cashier Jason is always friendly helpful and fun to talk to.The gas prices tend to run a little high. When petroleum prices go up this Gate is always the first to raise gas prices and the last to drop them when petroleum goes down.I would like to see more beer sold by the case instead of smaller packages. Still a great store with good employees.

Updated :Location has its pros and cons. Detailed review below. Mask are stated to be required but not enforced, especially by work crews in the morning. Social distancing is also not being enforced, in store or parking lot. Friendly employees for one exception. Good coffee. Get you in store and out fast.Pros: Hand sanitizer available at entrance,a Clean interior and exterior, variety of items, average price, well staffed, coffee fresh and ready every morning, janitorial duties performed regularly, all employees are now friendly for the exception of one. He will not make you feel welcome and does not seem to like working there.-Masks do not seem to be enforced at this location which does make me feel unsafe.-Employees do not get lunch breaks. They have to eat up front through enough out of their own but will sometimes finish eating while ringing out a customer and that's his gross to me.-Location is extremely busy first thing in the morning. Construction crews will come in, many without mask, will stand in parking spots which does not allow you to park. Very frustrating. Also they are very rude. If it's empty to make purchase and inline, they will cut the line and go to one of their coworkers who are in front of you, then you are expected to allow them to cut. Very frustrating especially when you have a very busy schedule and need to get in and out.Overall wonderful location. employees who are not as tendered have now started to become more friendly which is the reason why I am updating post.

Store has its pros and cons. Detailed review below. Mask are stated to be required but not enforced, especially by work crews in the morning. Social distancing is also not being enforced, in store or parking lot.Pros: Hand sanitizer available at entrance,a Clean interior and exterior, variety of items, average price, well staffed, coffee fresh and ready every morning, janitorial duties performed regularly, tenured staff which has been there more than ONE year are friendly and helpful Cons: Masks are NOT enforced, opening from 6:00 a.m. until around 8:00 a.m. is chaotic and social distancing is not enforced. No diversity among staff. Only two employees are not Caucasian, both female and the 2 males are both Caucasian. (The one male who is in college, African American, never there anymore) employees who have not been there one year are unfriendly, unexceptional and do not make you feel welcome or valued as a customer.Red Flag: second shift will eat their meals in front of you, in between customers but yet still eating until customer at register - disgusting. If attempting to purchase items with cash between 11:45 p.m. and closing, could be denied if you do not have exact change or paying with card. Employees are counting their registers early so they can leave as soon as they close and do not want to mess up their account by providing change / adding cash to drawer.
