Great selection of fresh and frozen meals, desserts, wine, and pastas. The gluten free options were numerous and employees were very knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely be back!

If you’re used to buying real Italian food Enzo’s is not for you ! They are selling frozen food with no dates! What they called fresh pastries were not. We drove 50 minutes to get there what a disappointment!

Enjoy coming here for the fresh baked bread and the grocery items. Their gelato and sweets are quite nice as well!

This is the tiniest yet complete market I have ever been to. We were greeted warmly by a young lady when we first walked in. She gave us a tour of the market.It was spotlessly clean. The smells were incredible, like spices and fresh bread. They had everything you could possibly want from an Italian market. Imported pasta and other goods from Italy, freshly made baked good, desserts, wines, olive oils, and a small butcher shop.We purchased two desserts (little cannoli & slice of carrot cake), two frozen meals (spaghetti & meatballs and ziti ricotta), two arancini, and a loaf of semolina bread. Everything was authentic and delicious. The frozen meals were easily cooked, the sauce and the beefy meatballs were scrumptious. The arancini and cannoli were easily my favorite, authentic and tasty.My husband's mother was born and raised in Italy, and he said the food tasted like home. He also said he could have dropped an entire paycheck at Enzo's buying food. In fact, I think he's looking for excuses to go back and buy more. (He's mentioned it almost daily.)The only caveat (besides the long distance from us) is that there is SO much stuff in the store, the two aisles are very cramped - extremely difficult for someone in a wheelchair to navigate it.If you are in the area, or are willing to drive a ways, I highly recommend coming here for some very authentic, delicious Italian food to take home.

I haven't been to Enzo's for quite some time until I was again, just passing through. The gentleman at the door greeted me right away and as I do with all shopping, I asked for assistance. His name was Greg, I believe, and while I was looking for something quick he showed me all the best things to buy. Not only was everyone excited to eat Italian tonight but we put away the Greek food for it. (which is my normal go to and my favorite) I ended up cooking all of the meatballs both spicy and regular thinking my kids wouldn't care for the spicy or the "Sunday Sauce". I was dead wrong. They loved both. They also loved the fresh bread and the wide variety of olive oil and vinegar that I bought. I highly suggest trying the truffle pearls. I love truffles, and my family does too, but these are dynamite! They're like fine caviar except they do not contain fish! Lol! We were super pleased with our purchase and will eat it for many days! Not only do they have imports, but they also have some really excellent in-house products. Overall, I would give it 10 stars. The people are nice, polite, and kind. The food is out of this world! I've never been more pleased. Thank you to Greg and the staff. See you again really soon!

We discovered Enzo's shortly after relocating to this part of CLT last year, and we've been raving fans and regulars since. Having spent a good bit of time living in the NYC area and enjoying the many Italian markets there, it's nice to find a more-than-comparable one locally. Everything we've had has been excellent, especially the homemade sausage and the bread. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. If you love authentic Italian fare we highly recommend making the trip to Enzo's in Matthews.
