Carl and Angela always take great care of us and our cars! Carl did all the mods for my 2011 Mustang GT 500 and got me to 757HP!! Ridiculous!!! I wouldn't take it anywhere else! I've known the Messengers for over 25 years and trust them completely! Carl has done work on every vehicle we have owned!! Spring Lake is so lucky to have Competition Auto as a LOCAL business!!!

Met Carl a few years ago at Competition Auto. Being a former shop owner and after talking to Carl about my race car needs and repairs i can highly recommend this business for your performance and parts needs. Carl takes pride in his work and is a perfectionist about how he approaches his diagnostic and repairs. I purchased a race car from a previous customer of his and i can say the workmanship and quality of his build is top notch. All the wiring and build of the car was extremely good and well thought out. Carl is very busy providing top quality work for his customers but when im able to get a chance to talk to him i can assure you he is very knowledgeable about his trade. He has built many basic mod cars to full out race upwards of 2000 hp. i have recommended many customers check out this business. They sell parts and dyno tune cars as well as many other repairs.i wouldnt think twice about Competition performance working on my vehicles. Carl usually is very busy in the shop and his wife runs the front end of the business which is very knowledgeable with all aspects of the business. If you need a guy with many years of racing background and performs professional work and has a great staff then this is the place. Carl has a great reputation and is very busy so if anything be a little patient. you can be assured you are getting a profeesional working on your ride. Carl is about safety in high performance builds and likes to be safe and perfect as possible with his tunes. i hope this review is helpful for customers wanting to know a little about this business.

Took my mustang in for clicking sound while pressing the gas and they found out the issue and fixed it for a fair price, didn’t try to over charge me for a simple fix like other shops
