“All the positive reviews are NOT wrong. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. I stopped by on a Saturday, they were very busy. It took 15 minutes for them to pull my truck into the garage. They installed 4 new tires I bought on the internet and 4 new TPMS sensors. Only took an hour at the most. Barnes King are honest hard working folks with very fare prices. Highly recommend them. I will never go anywhere else.”

Matt from Tri-City Tires was especially great to work with! He was extremely kind and helpful when picking out our custom carport. The Eagle Carports crew was professional and did a great job; we had messed up the leveling on the carport site and they worked with us to avoid a restocking fee by leaving the parts at our place, giving us an extra day to level our site out, and came back to get the job done. 10/10 recommend”

Best pricing for an alignment, and I know this, I called 13 other shops this morning. Equal pricing to have a tire balanced, put on and all that jazz. Free-on, putting that in is an amazing price!! “I am a car person. I love cars. I work on cars. And certainly, I appreciate mechanics and understand the difficulty of their job and all they need to know to be good at it. I am also a very loyal customer. I recently received a quote from the shop I have been using for the last 5 years (as long as I have owned my current car), that seemed somewhat excessive. I did some research and my thoughts were validated.
So I did more research and found Cowan Tire and Auto. They had too many stellar reviews for it to be a fluke so I gave them a call and explained my situation. Even though they were slammed (as good shops always are) they said if I could drop the car off they would try to work it in to take a look and give me an estimate. I was prepared to leave it there for 2 days just to get inspected. I got a call at the end of the day with a report on the issues.
My mechanic had recommended back brakes, new parking brakes and brake flush and gave a quote that was over $1300. Cowan gave me a quote for HUNDREDS less that also included new front brakes. On top of this, they took the calipers apart to clean and lube them so they did not need to be replaced. AND they did all this work the very next day because the car was already taken apart from the inspection.
I am beyond grateful for their honesty, integrity and all around great service. They have earned all my future business as long as I live in the area and I will certainly be shouting about them to anyone looking for help with their car.

“Mavis Tire and Brakes formerly NTB did me a wonderful service today. I could not find a tire anywhere to fit my 2014 Chevrolet Spark and when I had stopped to have my oil changed I was told the rear driver tire had a bubble on it and wires showing. The previous tire I had purchased was the wrong size and had worn wrong. I called Mavis at 5: 15 pm and was told they had the tire I needed. They closed at 6pm. I was in Shelby, NC. The lady told me if I could get there in next 15 minutes or so they could get it put on for me. I arrived and the gentleman at counter knew the tire I was there for. They got my car took back and new tire put on before closing time. I am so thankful for the excellent service I received and the kindness I received today. They will be receiving all of my future business. My car does not come with a spare tire, only an air compressor as it is a compact. Thanks so much y'all!!!”
