Nice, well cared for marina. The staff is all very nice, helpful, and accommodating. Be warned there is a strong current when coming around the fuel dock to the inside of the marina for the slips. We managed with twin screws, but slack tide would be much easier. The dock hands warned us to come around at a 45 degree angle to avoid a shoaling at low tide. Pump out is at the fuel dock, so plan on doing so as you come or go.
Two great restaurants on location to choose from - a "big deck" energy bar and grill, and a quaint Italian restaurant that is only open for dinner. Both are worth stopping at. Uber is not available in this small town and the marina is far from everything. The dock office has a list of taxi companies to try if you are needing to head into town at all. While we were there, the mens room was having the floor redone, so men were having to wait in line for the handicapped / family restroom to shower on shore. The women's room had two stalls and a shower and was very nice. We didn't use the laundry but they do have it on site.

We stayed at Safe Harbor South Harbor Village in Southport, NC, from July 26-29. The location is far from everything, making provisioning difficult, and there’s no Uber in the area. The on-site Italian restaurant is really good for dinner. Currents are rough, so it's best to arrive during slack tide. The men's room was under construction, leaving only a single family room for men, which was frequently in use for several hours—our only disappointment. The friendly staff were available and accommodating throughout our stay.

Can’t say enough nice things about this Marina. Dock Master Kelsey and her crew really are top notch. Laundry, ice, and fuel on site. Along with two resultants at the top of the hill. -SV No Sè.

Great marina. Shout out to Ian, we had a small mechanical issue and he spent 30 minutes getting us going again finding a part. Glad we stopped here for fuel

We stopped in here late in the day for a quick stop over for the night on our trip down south. We received amazing service from Pete. He safely guided us in on the radio and was waiting to help tie us up and make sure we were settled in. Thank you Pete for all your help! The marina was clean and had everything we needed for a quick stopover.

Going solo in a 35 foot boat. Stopped for gas and had 4 guys helping me get secure. Great service. Good price for gas too.

Unfortunately poor customer service. Stopped in the icw to hang fenders and lines. Started pulled up the the wide open fuel dock and the dock hand comes out waving his hands and actually yelling at me as to what I was doing. Said I should have called first. Never have I called a fuel dock that completely wide open. I told him with that attitude I was going up to the next marina, Morningstar. He then made more hand gestures and yelled something else. Completely unnecessary, fenders and lines out approaching a fuel dock not hard to know what I need. Or ask how can I help you? The next marina is less than a mile, make the trip it has a nicer store too.
