What an adorable shop! An eclectic collection of beautiful local art and jewelry. The owner is a lovely, friendly lady who is very knowledgeable. It’s my favorite place on OKI.

I first visited this shop about 15 years ago with my grandparents. It’s a lovely place with beautiful treasures owned by a beautifully spirited woman. Visiting this place became a special part of my annual vacation with my grandparents. Over the years I have built a collection of beautiful one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. This shop is unique for many reasons, but I especially enjoy Mrs Barbara’s knowledge about the crystals and stones and fossils that are incorporated in her jewelry. With a background in geology Mrs Barbara could talk for hours with my grandpa about the composition and formation, while my grandmother and I shopped. My grandparents are older now and aren’t able to make the trip anymore but Mrs Barbara always asks about them by name. I look forward to continuing the tradition and visiting this shop with my daughter every year.

Very cute shop it's just unfortunate that you can't see what they have before going. It's sad that the local artists can't have their work advertised for people to see. I wonder if they are aware that it's forbidden. Art is meant to be seen not hidden. It's sort of ridiculous to act as if the ideas are going to be "stolen" why would you ever sell it or allow anyone to ever look at it then. I almost didn't go in because there were no photos, I'm sure many people feel the same and that makes the artist miss out on selling their work.

On our recent trip to Oak Island my husband and I shopped at Blue Crab Blue in Southport.This small shop is now one of my favorites in the area. The shop offers unique and locally crafted items such as framed artwork, jewelry, pottery, and Oak Island sand sculpture. The owner is very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for unique gifts for yourself or others, don't miss Blue Crab Blue.

We always make it a point to visit Blue Crab Blue when we vacation in Ocean Isle Beach. A neat little shop that features the work of local artisans. The wife loves the jewelry selection.

One of a kind, cute little souvenir shop! I almost didn't go because there weren't any pictures posted online.Per the owner's request, I will not post any. There is a lot of unique local art and I wouldn't want their ideas stolen.I will say I got a cute towel hanger, mug, shark teeth, and wine corks. I will probably go back and buy a stained glass piece.Worth checking out!
